Sarah Sanders had a hard time getting dinner in the D.C. area on Friday. She and her family were asked to leave the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Va.
Jaike Foley-Schultz, who says he is a waiter at the Red Hen, shared a post on Facebook that said his boss kicked out the press secretary and her party.
The post went viral when the director of Clean Virginia, a left-leaning energy nonprofit, shared the post on Twitter, along with a handwritten note, purportedly from the restaurant, with the note: 86 Sara Huckabee Sanders.
The term 86 is restaurant shorthand for cutting people off, asking them to leave, or throwing them out.
Sanders confirmed that she was asked to leave in a tweet this morning.
Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for [President Trump] and I politely left, Sanders tweeted.
She also got in a dig, noting that being asked to leave said more about the owner than her.

Yes, and in a different world that would be very commendable, but do you believe that the left is going to commend her discretion? No-using Alinsky tactics, they will just use this to ratchet up on such acts.

As a reaction, all Republicans should avoid this restaurant.

The tolerant left strikes again.
Maybe some enterprising individual will rent or buy property in close proximity and launch a real nice eatery Everyone will want to patronize.
“This has only been posted about 20 times in the last few hours here.”
This one is a call to action! So it should be posted hourly until they APOLOGIZE. If not, well, some people may be upset.
She should have asked them to bake her a cake and then sue because she was discriminated against because she was heterosexual.
Hiding out and laying low, is the wrong response to thuggery, You only embolden them by shrinking back and being passive.
If you want the thugs change threir behavior, you have to kick them in the teeth.
Why?
They have every right and freedom to discriminate (”free to choose”) on their private business and private property anytime they want. The battle is getting the government out of their unconstitutional interference with private “discrimination” (freedom to choose).
Don’t turn the Right into Right-Wing SJW’s.
Technically, anyone who works under the Executive Branch works for POTUS Trump. That means that any DOJ or FBI employee should also be asked to leave, correct?
If not, how do they explain treating one person differently?
As I commented on one of the earlier threads...
.
This is twenty-first century, "progressive" JIM CROW!
Proofreading?
Priceless!
Tinycarat....
Did I mention that I hate smartphone Spell check... coupled with the loss of my desktop computer to a lightning strike a couple of weeks ago, and having to revert to my smartphone for everything until I make a switch to a laptop which I have to go out and purchase. The computer was 10 years old. I tried a couple of work arounds but to no avail. Sadly I lost my downloaded Microsoft Office Suite 2010 that was on the hard drive and I don’t think I’m getting that back so that could be a problem but maybe not....
Judgmental owner who forces customers to choose politics over a meal deserves the consequences of their actions. Hows that capitalism and new tax laws working for your biz?
Time to use the CA strategy by telling Federal Employees that they can no longer use Credit Cards and Expense Accounts billed to the United States Government at that Restaurant.
We lose if we do FIGHT AT THEIR LEVEL. I’m sick of taking the ‘high ground’ just to have abortion be found in the Constitution, gays getting married, our supporters and representatives being assaulted and sometimes killed, and our president facing impeachment for trying to control Illegal Immigration.
If they don’t like they results of THEIR RULES, then perhaps they should stop doing it.
You have every right to be Jim Crow or Daffy Duck if you want. The government has NO constitutional say in private decisions about private associations including business patrons.
The battle is getting the government out of their unconstitutional interference with private discrimination (freedom to choose).
Dont turn the Right into Right-Wing SJWs.
If you want the thugs change threir behavior, you have to kick them in the teeth.
.....and right between the gonads if they have any. But you're right, hiding out is what's gotten us to the point we're at. Confrontation and fighting back is more appropriate as that is the only language the left seems to understand.
