America Is Over, But I Won’t See It Go Without An Epic Fight
The Federalist ^ | June 21, 2018 | Jesse Kelly

Posted on 06/21/2018 2:31:09 PM PDT by Mafe

Close your eyes and imagine holding someone’s scalp in your hands. I don’t mean cradling his skull as you thousand-yard-stare at his lifeless face. I mean a real scalp, Indian-style, of some enemy you just killed on the battlefield; somebody you hated and who hated you back.

You killed him, won the day, carved off the top of his skull, and now you’re standing over him victorious on the now-quiet field of battle, with a quiet breeze blowing through your hair. Your adrenaline is still pumping with that primal feeling of victory and the elation of having survived when others didn’t.

I’m not naive enough to think that less than 5 percent of those reading this are the only ones not cringing at that mental image. Amid our wealth and privilege, most Americans cannot even relate to that kind of violence, and they sure don’t want to fantasize about it. That whole thing feels barbaric, violent, and repugnant. Maybe you even wish now you hadn’t read it.

But maybe, for just a moment, would you consider it? No, not a real scalping, but a metaphorical one. We’ll come back to this in a minute.

Look, Guys, America Is Simply Going Down First, we all have to accept certain realities about where we are as a nation. Rains will come and go. The stock market will rise and fall. The sky is blue. Water is wet. And government in America will just never stop getting bigger. This is simply a fact of life.

What a useless, demoralizing article. If it’s really over, why bother to fight? Better to keep fighting as long as necessary, even if the final victory is likely after you’re dead.

I’m not ready to give up....yet.

But having gawddamned cowards and backstabbers in the Congress that won’t vote to protect the country from aliens hordes is disheartening.

That’s why the Second Amendment is more vital than ever. I will use it to protect me and mine on my land if and when it comes to it.

“...He lost me at the scalping. Kind of a bit of a weirdo.....”
Not me. A lot of these libs need a good old-fashion scalping. Taking a few scalps would be a good thing. Maybe it will scare some sense into these insane bassturds.

The Hispanics legally here actually hate illegal immigration.

Why? It’s their wages that are going to get reduced most.

Trump has done nothing that won't be immediately reversed by executive order the moment the dems regain the White House. Except the tax cut: that will require an act of Congress, and it will be rolled back the moment the dems have full control.

There are a handful of things that could change the underlying political dynamic. Thoroughgoing entitlement reform would be the most important. All pensions should be fully funded. Health insurance should be privately owned and transportable.

Then we could begin to dismantle the permanent government. Start with term limits. Also kick members of Congress out of the federal retirement and health systems; Members should get nothing that is not available to every citizen. I'd also provide that federal employees, as a group, could not have average compensation (salary plus benefits) higher than the average for private sector employees.

Welfare benefits should be taxable income, and all recipients would be required to file on April 15 just like the working stiffs. Most of them wouldn't be paying much anyhow, but they should at least see what they're costing the taxpayers. And such a filing would be a great check on abuse.

Voucher the public schools and go to full school choice.

Would this be enough? Probably not. The left no longer accepts the legitimacy of the political opposition. They are operationally hostile to freedom of speech and religion. They systematically attack any effort to protect the integrity of the franchise. They are full-on for open borders. They believe they can import enough Central Americans to outvote the residual American population. It won't end well.

>>Christian convictions got many founding fathers to embrace austerity and trials.

>>If America gets too mushy to do that, it’s not going to see a revival.

I don’t think it will see a revival as a nation. We are too humanist already. Large percentages now claim to not be Christian. Of those who do claim to be Christian, many are non-participating Christians, or followers of Buddhist philosophies wrapped up in the convenient verses of scripture.

I believe that America was chosen, with land reserved by God, for the time when islam had been pushed out of Europe and the visible church was freed from Rome’s influences. It was to be the closest thing to heaven that would ever exist on this earth, but it was also destined to end as the prophesied times came prior to Jesus’ return. I do not see any proof in the bible that Jesus will return to a prosperous America. He will return when his remnant is barely hanging on by their faith alone with nothing else to cling to. Our future holds persecution, not national revival. We might see some more prosperity, but it will only drive our nation further from God as our people become more convinced of their own godlike power to shape reality.

Some tribes, like the Choctaw, chose to play nice with the government in hopes that their peaceful gesture would be returned. They got a Trail of Tears for their kindness.

And now they have eight of these...

If you had been born in 1900 in America and were suddenly transported in time to America as a 40 year old today....

Hell, 1970. I was 12 years old then, and today I feel like I am the enemy.

“The best scalps are cut from the hairline on the neck and pulled to the eyebrows. Just sayin’.”

First knuckle of the little finger, get enough and you have a dandy necklace.

Nah, you just move another exit down the interstate, and keep claiming you still live in your old hometown that you will no longer visit unarmed. Go Eagles/Bears/Browns/Dolphins etc...

“Bathroom confusion is gone” “Immigration is being enforced”

Immigrants, legal and illegal continue to pour across the border, and through airports. Old hillbilly towns have been turned into Spanish speaking towns.

The LGBTQQ propaganda machine is still running full speed at all levels of public school and secular private schools.

Winners aren’t required to hide their flag. Can a patriot wear a MAGA cap wherever he goes? Are you confident to put a MAGA bumper sticker on your car?

Violence is the currency.. the left is flush.

I’m hoping that what I heard my grandparents say about “the nation is changing” is what happening to me now and that it isn’t a bad thing.
