We will see how things go today. There is rain in the forecast and we have level 1 (marginal risk) for severe storms in the area today and tonight.
Wouldn’t necessarily call it “enjoyed” but it was interesting for the most part. Mainly, I knew folks from “the dark side” were also watching and they heard things that hadn’t heard on TV news.
What will come of it all, who knows? Probably nothing, as usual.
If I can get the groceries in the dry, it’ll be a good day. LOL! That system that left east TX underwater is supposed to throw some rain up here but we’ll see. We hope it does because we need it BUT, not at shopping time!
I hope it isn’t a scorcher for y’all. Sure would be nice if it was a wet day there. You have a lot of catching up to do!
Can’t blame you a bit for wanting to get out of town for a bit. Much more pleasant in the country and around a nice lake.
From what I’ve seen on the radar, it could get a bit ugly over your way. Nothing severe at present but there are some storms in the mix. Once the sun’s up, things could fire up quite a bit. No tornados, please!

Whew! Looks like most of the country is under a heatwave.
We had a storm roll through last night
and dump some needed rain on the area.
Brought the temps down some, too.

This is not surprising.
Well, my gym buddy moved, so I will have to find another motivation
to get dressed and out the door before brain is awake.
I swear, it's like I do not have enough time
during the day to get things done.
That's one of the reasons I've had to give up
some of my Canteen time.
Hubby and I spent two days helping son and family move and set up at new place.
We were so exhausted we hid out on Father's Day.
I promised my parents that I'd come down this week, which will be today.
So, this is a post-n-run morning, too.
