Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe used Peter Strzoks mistress, Lisa Page, to get information on the FBI probe into investigation of Clintons private server.
McCabe used Page to circumvented the official chain of command.
Other bureau officials took issue with the decision.
Then-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe tasked the mistress of lead agent Peter Strzok to stay appraised of the probe into Hillary Clintons private server a decision that other bureau officials took issue with at the time, according to the Department of Justice Inspector Generals bombshell report.
McCabe was supposed to be insulated from the probe by two levels of management: Strzok worked for counterintelligence head Bill Priestap, who worked for national security head Michael Steinbach, who reported up to McCabe. However, Strzok communicated about the probe with his mistress, Lisa Page, who worked directly for McCabe and acted as a liaison for the Clinton investigation for the deputy director.

McCabe has been the subject of concerns about political bias in the FBIs handling of the case because of his familys ties to the Clintons. Around the time of the investigation, McCabes wife received $700,000 from Terry McAuliffe, a close friend of the Clintons who ran Hillary Clintons 2008 presidential campaign. The money was for McCabes wife to run for state senate, an unusual amount of money for that office.

The IG report makes clear that McCabe intentionally essentially used Page as a mole to bypass multiple subordinates to feed him information about the probe.
...
numerous people in the FBI were telling McCabe to recuse himself from the Clinton probe due to the appearance of conflict. McCabe resisted recusal and got into an argument and tense conversations with FBI officials.

One reason why Sessions, Wray, Rosenstein and the other corrupt Swamp defenders have refused to use a criminal investigation to collect evidence in all this is that it keeps the wrongdoers safe from search warrants.
In a criminal investigation, investigators could obtain McCabe’s private communications and find any communications with Clinton people in which he is keeping them apprised of the progess of the investigation (well, sham investigation) into Hillary’s secret server.
Such private records are purged with time and that is part of why they are delaying things with a 15-month IG investigation, slow-walking congressional demands, etc.
All well and good and very interesting...for fiction. Too bad no one will be prosecuted.
No surprise here now the 700000 donation to Mcabe’s wife has an evidentiary connection
Oh how I yearn for the Old days when Murder Inc. was around.
In the end the great Hillary cover up going to cost a lot of jobs and jail time for some.
Valiant Mr. McCabe was a Honey Pot used by the FBI to entrap unscrupulous members of the Investigation Team in order to ensure fairness was the key; or, Valiant Mr. McCabe was the Insurance Policy for the Clintons — more likely!
Has anyone ever actually seen a live , walking , talking verified as to identity Peter Strzok? All we have are 3 dated pics and I don’t trust them.
Same with her. I think she is skankier now than picture we keep seeing.
I’m not sure she was really his mistress. I’m thinking that perhaps they used the pretense of an affair, as cover for their back-channel communication.
Thanks george76.
I’m so charmed by these thugs... /s

My money is on an Arkancidation occurring in the next few months.
I’m inclined to agree.
I see no evidence of any affection, lust, whatever. Not even “what are you wearing?”
I agree with the use of this documentation/illustration tool.
The LSM is WAY too stupid to be able to provide same.
We may not be privy to all of the communications.
