President Trump called the recent decision by a federal judge to jail his former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, until his trial in September “tough” and “very unfair,” suggesting there should instead be criminal punishments for former FBI Director James Comey and Hillary Clinton.
“Wow, what a tough sentence for Paul Manafort, who has represented Ronald Reagan, Bob Dole and many other top political people and campaigns. Didn’t know Manafort was the head of the Mob. What about Comey and Crooked Hillary and all of the others? Very unfair!” Trump tweeted Friday.
Manafort has not been convicted of a crime, nor has he been sentenced. Trials involving the charges brought against him in both Washington, D.C., and Virginia have not yet started.

Doughty...all this stuff isn’t going to get these people arrested. They’re trading off who gets off with each other, who’s going to go under the bus and that won’t be anyone significant, and it sure won’t be the Clintons or any of their kind.
The game is their game of play.....not ours...it’s who has what politicians, judges and legal rep in their corner....they play to win freedom from prosecution like they play to win elections. It’s nasty business all around. AND this is why they say they are “Immune”.

No kidding! I said the other day that if an errant meteorite hit the Senate the IQ in the rest of the building would go up 50%. And with the attention span of our citizen voters what it is, having people who only have to sorta behave and do what they’ve said they would for one year out of every six is a recipe for disaster.

Trump should just put a “contract” out on Mueller and be done with it. I mean it worked for the Clintons, and they are “held in high esteem” by half the country!

Why has Trump not ordered a full investigation of the Podesta Group for the same alleged activities that Manafort was engaged in? In fact, were they not “partners” at one point during the investigation?
The two-tiered justice system must stop. The aggressiveness of Mueller and company in comparison with the lackadaisical and corrupt way the email investigation and/or the foundation investigation(s) were treated MUST STOP.
Now we even have a highly partisan state AG’s office going after a charity that gave more than it took in for corruption???? How is that possible? The President has to act as if they hate him no matter what - period. He should stop with the political calculations and immediately issue a proclamation that he will demand that DOJ put forth the same effort investigating allegations against the Clintons, DNC, and other partisans as have been applied to those connected to him. This should be done in the name of fairness and he should provide clear examples in the proclamation.
I think some naively believe it would tear our country apart. The far left and their media minions are already attempting this so either the counterpuncher (Trump) has lulled us all to sleep or his supporters need to demand EQUAL TREATMENT UNDER THE LAW.
The entire ‘game’ has just one purpose.....they all are bartering to stay out of jail and hide whatever it is they don't want found out. That's pretty much the it of it.

Which itself ‘protects’ the players with various ‘misuses’ of confidential or classified echo's regurgitated to hold the line. They do not play according to rules, they plan and orchestrate their plays and then align the rules to support them. So the idea of being fair isn't even on the table.

Herr Mueller and his 13 angry democrats want to squeeze Manafort to make up some dirt story about Trump. Rule of law does not count when it comes to democrats trying to make a political score. They found the compromised and corrupt Obama judge to help them in their machinations.

Well here’s a thought or 2. Way before 0’s reign of error I read an opinion that Nixon was under the microscope not truly for Watergate but for being so anti-Commie in the 50s, as the left’s revenge. In turn when the GOP finally controlled Congress again, as payback for Nixon’s railroading, Clinton was hounded for his “personal” behavior (but could have been justifiably more so for selling/giving away US tech secrets to China, which was far worse, the aftermath of which we hear nothing about these days) but he only got a slap on the wrist compared to Nixon. The badgering of Trump is belated payback for that episode, and perhaps the non-seating of Garland which is turning out to be devastating to the left and frankly something that I never thought McConnell would engineer.
Today, with (D) nominally out of power they still wield undue influence due to their media-academic-judicial complex, permanent (D) judicial appointments that would make Stalin proud bolstered by the fake news media and fake wackademics pushing fake historical and political facts/junk science on the mushy minds of the lamest generation the Snowflakes who lap it all up...like saying “Alpo” to a pup.
