President Trump called the recent decision by a federal judge to jail his former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, until his trial in September “tough” and “very unfair,” suggesting there should instead be criminal punishments for former FBI Director James Comey and Hillary Clinton.
“Wow, what a tough sentence for Paul Manafort, who has represented Ronald Reagan, Bob Dole and many other top political people and campaigns. Didn’t know Manafort was the head of the Mob. What about Comey and Crooked Hillary and all of the others? Very unfair!” Trump tweeted Friday.
Manafort has not been convicted of a crime, nor has he been sentenced. Trials involving the charges brought against him in both Washington, D.C., and Virginia have not yet started.

Like you, I’m baffled about Trump’s lack of action here, but I just imagine nearly anything he does in this area invites more $hit at a time when he wants to get the Mueller “probe” out of his hair. And it’s not as though he’s sitting on his hands. Important stuff is being done daily.

Manafort is going to jail through trial and appeals, which may take years. That’s as good as a sentence.
The press never misses an opportunity to attempt to make Trump look stupid.

Sessions and RosenRat should have been fired already. The reasons they have not been certainly is not cowardice. President Trump fears no one, no thing. Hopefully it will all become clear very soon. Please pray for President Trump and all the good people surrounding him.

The deep state (which includes many judges) is trying to force Trump to pardon him, to be able to fuel the new meme that he is pardoning ‘criminals’. He should go ahead and do it just to watch the liberal heads explode.

May be the goal of the political left swamprats. They know they don’t have any real case. If there is a pardon, they can then say there was Russian collusion but we can’t prove it now because of Trump’s pardon.
I agree there is important stuff happening. The problem is something else is needed. We can Learn, Discuss, Plan all we want. Trump needs to have one major player charged. Just one. Charge one crime to HRC, Huma, Rice, Mills, Lynch, Meuller, etc... No need to dot i’s and cross t’s. One charge and this will all end. Trump still playing Defense because his own people won’t cooperate. Sessions comes to mind at the forefront.
Doesn’t matter if cowardice is involved. Just do something. Can’t sit back for 1 1/2 years and do nothing and expect results. Trump needs to Tweet less and act more.

That’s the absolute truth! Furthermore, Sessions and Rosenschmeckel are still in their chairs simply because Trump knows the Senate, under McScrotumneck will box up any confirmation hearings for a replacement.
