I called the Mark Levin show. The call screener politely said, "What's on your mind?
I was upset that Mark was calling the tickets to sporting events and shows "gifts" which were given to the leakers. IMHO, they were bribes.
The screener said that unless Sessions or Trump enables a special prosecutor, and there is an indictment and conviction, there is no crime, so it is a gift.
Then I presented my theory that Trump is the classic good cop, and Sessions is giving him cover for doing nothing by being the bad cop. We are being played.
The screener politely said that we cannot deal in unprovable theories. He said "we know these people, and they are good Americans and want to do what is right". Then he hung up.
The "bad cop" as I understand the role not only ruthlessly attends to all crimes seen but even convinces or attempts to convince suspects that he DOES see crime in places where he does not or does not yet.
So you're a great guy but...our holds on the good cop/bad cop rigmarole differ.
But we are exactly the same in our baffling lack of comprehension in the face of deep Sessions Inaction.
My theory is that this expensive and gargantuine surveillance state "has something" on nearly all decision makers. And when someone doesn't act in exactly the way this fell entity prefers, then the long-catalogued dirt is trundled out and the impending bad behavior corrected; thus Justic Roberts famous rulings (gay marriage & Obamacare), as just one tiny example. And that we are, by effect, a secretly occupied country, with what we SEE as the American political process a TOTAL MIRAGE.
I am exasperated, because here we have another wave of lawlessness, when nothing ever has been resolved by earlier revelations.
Trump makes it crystal clear he is disgusted with Sessions and would never have appointed him if he knew the future.
Mark Levin makes it clear he is deeply disappointed with his friend of 30 yrs, and has publicly called for Sessions to RESIGN.
Sessions is not looked upon as worth firing given what firing him would unleash.
I think both Trump and Levin think it is not a smart thing to do, to fire Sessions.
I don’t think he remains in the job because either man is too fearful of his firing. They have the guts, they just think that there’s a smarter way to go.
I blame Sessions. If he has so messed up, it’s on him. Sure, Trump can fire him. He wants Sessions to go, without firing him. Or stay, if the man hasn’t the right stuff to do his job or quit.
Sessions = worthless.
They cannot possibly arrest everyone responsible for the Kenyanesian Usurpation and its myriad crimes.
There is not anyone not tainted to do the prosecuting.
When Ike left office in 1961 apparently things were already such that it would fill a Prez with dread:
Isn't it reasonable that a HALF CENTURY later the problem would have grown a tad bit..?
We're there.
It’s hard to know what you are even talking about.
Look, you're right to be angry and want to respond, but you needed a better argument.
Mark is old enough to remember the "gifts" scandal that was the impetus of Nixon's "CHECKERS SPEECH" ( no, Veep Nixon did NOT take anything other than a puppy, that his little girls then named "Checkers", but any others HAD indeed taken all kinds of "gifts", including fur coats for their wives, which led Nixon to say that Pat had no fur coats, just a good GOP cloth coat! ) and if he can't remember that, at the least he should have read about it!
And if YOU had known about this, you could have used it as a retort to Mark. After all, they were called "GIFTS" back then, not "bribes"; though that IS what they were! :-)
I watched Yankee Doodle dandy with Jimmy Cagney. My BP is back down to elevated.
.
The Q / Sundance thing started out with Rosenstein as a White Hat, too.
Sessions props up the Deep State and absolutely loves Rosenstein.
The IG is Toothless and Impotent and the Dojfbi is doing their own thing. The Fourth branch of Government and the only one that is unaccountable.
.
SPOT ON!
What is not clear?
Or, do you not like what I am saying?
My theory is that this expensive and gargantuine surveillance state “has something” on nearly all decision makers. Explains the Kenyanesian Usurpation, how our ENTIRE government went along with the violation of the Constitution.
After this IG report today, what difference does it make if Trump fires
Sessions now. Sessions has already done great damage to Trump.
Sessions recusal led to the Mueller witch hunt, which is still ongoing
and the IG whitewash report cleared the DOJ and the FBI.
The damage is done. What difference does it make now?
History will not be kind to Sessions.
Sessions "seems" like he is looking the other way because he is looking the other way.
He's recused. He said he would recuse at his confirmation hearing, and then he recused in an official memo.
He said he was recusing on all matters in anyway connected to the elections and Hillary.
Are you not aware of this?
What is truly silly is expecting the impossible. Somehow there is a super cop who could take over DOJ and/or FBI and clean house. There are certainly leaders who could start in that direction and they would be quickly stopped by the courts and attacked with made-up stuff by the media. There's actually no way to battle the deep state head on. The main reason is that the voters are voting for deep state as part of the managerial state. Tea party voters might be a large minority, but they are not a majority and don't have a lot of representation in Congress.
I agree, it is far too difficult to take on the deep state head on. They are far too powerful and control the courts and propaganda outlets.
