After admitting Mr. Rosenstein threatened Congress for overseeing his department, the DOJ official went on to reiterate that the threat remains.
“That is why he put them on notice to retain relevant emails and text messages and he hopes they did so,” the official’s statement said.

Rosenstein is the one briefing the President on the OIG report today .... isn’t that “interesting”? After hearing how RR abused Congressional staffers, I wonder what Trump’s attitude will be towards RR. Supposedly, after meetings with Gen. Kelly a couple of weeks ago, both RR & Sessions were told their jobs were teetering on a thin edge. For my own sanity, it’s wait & see what the next day brings ... I know what I’d LIKE to see, but that only results in frustration when it doesn’t happen. So far, Trump has been doing just fine so I’ll continue to trust him and enjoy all the winning. At some point, the treasonous criminals in our government, current and former, will get what they deserve - maybe not through our legal system, but from some other source.

I believe there is a reason the story about Rosenstein threatening House Committee staffers was released yesterday.
I believe Rosenstein forced major rewrites of IG Horowitz’s report that will be released this afternoon.
I also believe the Nunes Committee will demand to get a copy of the original IG Horowitz’s report to see how much was eliminated and watered down.
All Trump has to do to get rid of this turd is order him to provide him with an Unredacted version of the report with a line by line legal reason for each redaction by Monday Morning.
If he provides it fire him for witholding information from the public that casts a bad light on the DOJ.
If he refuses, fire him for insubordination and Obstructing Justice by Threatening Congressional Staff.
