Rod Rosenstein?
If not, it’s a no-go.

Sessions is bought and paid for, and now he tries to show fangs?
This schmuck won’t fire anyone, and will spend countless days defending those who should be fired.

I thought little Jeffrey was in full recusal mode. He needs to go back to writing poetry, playing the guitar or painting pictures of bowls of fruit. The grownups have this.

Of course he does because that was the plan to implement a special counsel coup against Trump. ‘Never let a good crisis go to waste.’
The rat bastard defends his recusal, too.

I don't know why anyone on FR would give Sessions grief on this particular point. For better or worse, he's been absolutely consistent on this so far.
The IG report covers the Hillary Clinton e-mail investigation, and Comey's conduct in that case was precisely the reason why Sessions recommended his termination.

Yup. Goober Magoo knows the report is going to make comey the fall guy. The report may even go so far as to say Comey made grave mistakes in the Clinton ‘investigation’.

He also reiterated that Comey was fired for screwing over Hillary. Mess with Hillary and you will be held accountable. Do what you want against Trump...

Deep down, I hope Sessions redeems himself. At this point, it’s anybody’s guess. I’m leaning with the “he’s being blackmailed by the deep state”, crowd.
