Mueller worries Russia could use court case to spy on probe

WASHINGTON (AP) — Special counsel Robert Mueller's team is worried that Russian intelligence services will use a criminal case in Washington to gather information about its investigation and U.S. intelligence-gathering methods.

In court papers filed Tuesday, prosecutors are asking a federal judge to impose limits on the information that can be shared by attorneys in the first criminal case directly related to Russian attempts to interfere in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

So far, only one defendant, Concord Management and Consulting LLC, has appeared in the case, and prosecutors say they're worried information they provide to the company's attorneys could end up in the hands of other defendants or Russian spy agencies.

The government "has particularized concerns about discovery in this case being disclosed to Russian intelligence services," prosecutors write, noting that disclosure of information they plan to share with the company's attorneys could compromise ongoing and future national security investigations.

Yeah. It’s called discovery. And you started it jackass.

That's "Mr. Jackass," if you don't mind.

"Mueller opened the door."

According to Clapper, Mueller should be happy Russia is spying on his probe.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Oh, what a freaking joke.

Mueller brings charges then is AFRAID to present “evidence” in court because RUSSIANS may show he is full of bs.

I pray for a giant wave of voters to INCREASE the House of Representatives Republican advantage AND give us more Senators from the party-—and this CHARADE of a FAKE RUSSIAN COLLUSION witch hunt can END. Cut it off NOW.

So the dumb bastards filed criminal charges in the case, and now they don't want to turn over information to the defendants?

Mueller is admitting that his investigation might as well be a Russian intelligence-gathering operation.

This reminds me of a comical exchange I once observed between a judge and a plaintiff's attorney in a civil trial. The plaintiff's attorney was trying to quash several subpoenas that had been served by the defendants, and the basis of the plaintiff's opposition to the subpoenas was -- get this -- that it would be a hardship for the parties who received the subpoenas to comply with them.

The judge actually burst out laughing:

"You should have thought of that before you filed this lawsuit, counsel."

Are we getting around to the obvious conclusion that Mueller is an idiot?

Oh, forgot, he’s a liberal. The conclusion is therefore mandatory.

Almost as bad as hiding intelligence gathering assets inside a political campaign and having to explain the justification for doing so?

Exactly. LMAO.

Mueller prosecutes more than a dozen Russian defendants -- none of whom were even in the U.S. at the time the indictments were announced, mind you -- and now he's claiming that he doesn't want the Russians to see the evidence against them?

“He’s laying the foundation for an excuse to dismiss the case so that he won’t be embarrassed when he loses.”

Yep. But the defendants should object strenuously and force this clown to present his case.

Excuse me??? Then why was the case brought? Uh Mr. Mueller, we don’t do stuff like this in America. It’s not an espionage case.
