Senate Democrats have written a letter to President Donald Trump with a list of requirements that any deal with North Korea must meet if they are to support it.
Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), the ranking member on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, led six other leading Democratic senators in declaring “that a deal with North Korea must”:

The dems have now painted themselves into a corner with this stupid stunt.
If a reasonable agreement happens to be put forward from these efforts, the dems will likely choose to alienate more moderate voters if they refuse to vote for a deal, or they will sign on to the agreement and alienate their hard left voters.
I don't see an upside for the dems using this tactic.
