Hoping to kill a lure for illegal immigrants, top Trump administration officials are rallying behind the E-Verify system that requires employers to hire only legal U.S. workers or face a fine.
The heads of the Social Security Administration and Immigration and Customs Enforcement have endorsed the mandatory national use of the voluntary system as a way to curb illegal immigration and cut identity theft.
“I think that we need to look at E-Verify. I think E-Verify is a necessary tool because illegal employment is a magnet that pulls people into this country. So I think E-Verify should be mandated in this country across the board,” said ICE Acting Director Thomas Homan.

Cutting off jobs and benefits to illegal aliens is the key to encouraging them to return to their own country on their own.
The IRS has the tools, laws and authority to STOP employers already. They could easily Disallow All returns with a No Match SS number and Force an Audit and Prosecute ALL OF THEM for Tax Fraud TODAY!!!

I understand that it could be very effective, but so could house to house searches without warrants. The latter is unconstitutional. The former is fascism.
The ends don’t justify the means.
I’ll bet well over half of the lawn care businesses are operating under the table for cash.
And most of them employ illegals.

We already have a national ID card. It’s called a passport. Fedzilla could issue them at no out-of-pocket costs to citizens. Then employers can ask to see your passport. Works for me.
E-Verify is HOW we “deport” illegal aliens at no cost to the tax payer.
They self-deport when they can’t get work.
Wages for LEGAL immigrants and minority citizens go up and our tax burden goes down for all.

Form I-9 has een in olace since the late 0’s or early 80’s. The fine for hiring anyone without clearing that form FIRST is $5000 a day per employee.
I could not even put MY MOTHER on payroll without her filling out an I-9 correctly & completely.
House to house searches are nothing compared to Jerry Brown planning on having ‘monitors’ verifying how many toilet flushes you do per day.
U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Cheap Labor Express, rats and RINOs are NOT pleased.
Once again we see that simply enforcing the existing laws has been actively ignored for quite some number of years and Administrations.
