It may be an unpopular opinion, but I think increasing the number of voters is simply a bad idea....too many IDIOTS are voting nowadays anyway.

Obama the community organizer created ACORN for just that reason

If you sign up to vote through ACORN when you go to the Polls you find you already voted
SOROS owns and controls the electronic voting machines in several states

Makes it hard for conservatives to get the votes cast for them

I predict that Cayahoga County (Cleveland), will lose at least 100,000 votes. Remember in the 2012 election, that in some districts in Cleveland, voter turnout was over 100 percent. This ruling makes that more difficult.

You won't find any disagreement from me. I think only INFORMED voters and those who really care about the issues should be voting.

There SHOULD be a modest hurdle to jump in order to vote, not one that will prevent anyone from voting who wants to, but that will ensure only the most motivated will do it. Getting the proper I.D. is one way. Having to actively register for each 2-year election cycle is another.

“Another example of the difference between Justice Gorsuch and what would have happened with Justice Garland. Thank you President Trump.”
___________________

Megadittoes. And thanks also to Senator Chuck Grassley for not permitting Garland to get a hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee, and to Senator Mitch McConnell for blocking the Garland nomination from getting a vote on the floor (and for keeping the Senate in pro-forma session through January 3, 2017 so that Obama couldn’t make a recess appointment). GOP Senators showed more backbone during those dangerous months between Justice Scalia’s death and President Trump’s inauguration than at any other time during my lifetime.

Now we need either the moderate Anthony Kennedy or one of the hardcore Leftist Justices to retire (or pass away) so that President Trump can appoint a fifth conservative Justice. Of course, it goes without saying, we need for the GOP to hold the Senate this November, and preferably increase its majority so that one of the RINO Senators like Collins or Murkowski (both of whom went along with blocking Garland and then voted for the nuclear option and to confirm Gorsuch, but I don’t trust them when Roe v. Wade and Obergefell are on the line) can’t hold President Trump’s judicial nominees hostage.

Funny how we emphasize/honor/preserve most of the founders’ principles but not the one that required land ownership to qualify as a voter.

Slavery aside for a moment, imagine the vast differences across history that would have resulted if only individuals with a stake were involved in political decisions affecting their stake AND if non-qualified individuals were excluded from the vote.

The threshold of the public voting to loot the treasury was passed about 20 trillion dollars ago with no end in sight.

Would that be so difficult for the Board of Elections to do?

**************

Not necessary as a death certificate would be filed in the local court house, etc. All
they have to do have a copy made and sent to the voter registrar in the adjoining room.
It’s a process that should be easily accomplished.

At least Texas makes a partial attempt at the 2 year cycle approach.

This vote alone is why all NeverTrumpers were obtuse.
Now, I wasn’t confident that Trump would pick an originalist, but my fears have been allayed. One had to hope for the best, and the ONLY choice was voting AGAINST Madoff Clinton, and supporting Trump.

I’m all for that. Once upon a time, in my younger days when renting was my lifestyle, I found out that I was registered about three or four times at different addresses. It was completely unintentional, and I didn’t even know it until I happened to see a listing while at a polling place. And no, I never voted multiple times. I think that I tried to correct it, but I don’t remember what happened.

The real solution is a 1st world, secure voter system with a tamperproof ID. Like Mexico had IBM create.

Yes. Mexico.
