On Monday, when Connecticut had its State Open track and field championships at Willow Brook Park, one person broke the State Open records for girls in both the 100 and 200-meter runs.
That person was a biological boy.
Terry Miller of Bulkeley, a transgender, won the events. In the 100 meter dash, the runner-up was Andraya Yearwood of Cromwell, also a transgender.
Here are the two races:
Yearwood won the Class M sprint titles last year; Miller competed on the boys’ team during the winter indoor season then joined the girls’ competition.
Feel free to fly into a fit because someone chooses to state the obvious facts out loud, but Terry Miller and Andraya Yearwood are not girls. They’re boys, with the physique of boys and impressive athletic prowess. This wasn’t some local meet for bragging rights between local schools. This was a state-level event which would determine who went on to the New England championships. It’s also a pathway for many girls to secure a college scholarship.
CIAC executive director Karissa Niehoff had this to say. “We do feel for them. Fully agree it doesn’t feel good. The optic isn’t good. But we really do have to look at the bigger issues that speak to civil rights and the fact this is high school sports.”

That was their goal all along. Leftists don't want sports for two reasons:
1.) They feel sports robs money from their core goals. The same for the military.
2.) Real sports is merit based. It simply is the antithesis of equality. Because in REALITY, not everyone is equal, and nothing, NOTHING makes that unequivocal statement like sports does. The same goes for the military. In combat, when the only thing that counts in the end, life or death, is how good someone is at fighting, the outcome cannot be jiggered by Leftists.
So...I give the scummy a-holes points for playing the long game. How I despise Leftism.

Apparently the larger picture means that boys claiming they feel like girls must not have their feelings hurt or be discriminated against. Similar statements justify these ‘transgender’ people entering girl’s bathrooms and locker rooms. At no time are the feelings and rights of all the other hundreds, nay thousands of girls who want some privacy and who wish to compete against other females on an equal footing.
Liberals are not logical or sensible.

It’s not going to end sports. It’s just going to get schools — especially public schools — out of the business of running sports teams.
The move is afoot in our universities to PC folks into full submission to censorship.
Society will either fall in behind, or see it for what it is and yank the folks who are supporting these Nazi antics.
I wouldn’t put it past Trump to address this at some point.
