The success of transgender female athletes participating in high school track and field events has parents, athletes and coaches in some communities calling for a change in the current rules, as they question a possible competitive advantage.
The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference, which governs high school sports in the state, allows athletes to compete in the gender specific sport in which they identify. Continued success by transgender athletes has prompted two petitions — one started in Glastonbury and another in Plainville — from critics who say transgender athletes have an advantage. Together, the petitions have about 150 signatures, though neither has been submitted to CIAC officials.
“I think it’s unfair to the girls who work really hard to do well and qualify for Opens and New Englands,” said Glastonbury sophomore sprinter Selina Soule, who finished sixth in the 100-meter State Open final Monday. “These girls, they’re just coming in and beating everyone. I have no problem with them wanting to be a girl.”

I love that this is happening in New England ... clearly these coaches, parents and born-girl athletes are transophobic and should be condemned widely for their bigotry.
I don’t see how this transgender discussion can carry on without saying ‘unfairness is fair’, and emphasizing to the girls that their sports are screwed up. I wouldn’t even bother trying out for any field sport, or basketball, if the school had three or four transgender students participating in girl’s sports.
Good. If the trannies want to compete, they can start their own tranny competitions.
It’s past time for push back on this atrocity.
So, the coaches and parents are obviously “haters.”
There were a bunch of girls who are no doubt looking for college scholarships who are getting screwed out of them by trannies.
It’s a pretty weak man who can’t compete with other men and take whatever comes his way.
My next prediction is that once this happens, we will eventually see the end of ALL scholastic sports.

Can we just admit what everyone knows but are afraid to say: these “transgender girls” are boys.
She’s just TRANS-PHOBIC. No other reason to have an issue with biological males competing as females.

This is HYSTERICAL. The Left is now driving school sports to be open-gender. If you want to play “boys basketball” or “girls basketball”, you don’t anymore, you just throw everyone together and call it “basketball”.
Obviously the girls won’t stand a chance, so they’ll either have to form their own leagues, outside of the schools, or go back to taking homemaking classes.
Seems like were were there, before - only boys sports, in the 1950s, with the girls in the kitchen. I guess the Left has gone full circle now.
Part of the lefts belief syste, is that there are ,pre than two genders so let them form other-gender competitions l am sure it will be well supported when it can no longer tear down thd current system /s

A significant number of second-string boys -— and it only takes a few-— are going to discover that they can win trophies by competing against girls. That’s all it will take to destroy girls’ athletics for the foreseeable future.

All a part of the lefts ruination of the foundations of America. This is PC mental illness at its best. When this minute minority is now a protected class there is no recourse. When a man who looks sounds and dresses like a man can enter a female bathroom without question and if you question or protest you are the criminal this is the forced acceptance of this kind of mental illness. Now, why should that be? If you claim you’re a girl, you’re a girl regardless of your hormone levels. That should be considered discriminatory and a personal invasion, to be forced to undergo hormone therapy in order to compete. I hope they sue. That would be fun to watch!
