If he has a constitutional right to see the documents than yes I would. Congress has oversight authority over DOJ and DOJ is obstructing Congress. It is as simple as that.

DOJ does not have the right to prevent Congress from over seeing what DOJ is doing.

President Trump has said that if DOJ continues to obstruct Congress he might have to get involved. So clearly Trump understands he has a rouge DOJ on his hands.

Congress can shut down Mueller’s investigation tomorrow. The fact that they haven’t even raised that possibility tells me this is all just political posturing.

P.S. — Look at this in the context of yesterday’s news about the indictment of a Senate staffer for leaking confidential DOJ information to the media. I don’t trust Congress any more than I trust the DOJ.
