I am wondering whether the punishment in Iraq would be any more serious than in Germany. This crime is worthy of the death sentence (if the guy is found guilty, of course). He will probably get a penalty of some community service consisting of doing work at the mosque of his own choosing.
It sure is weird how - metaphorically speaking - so many countries keep adding signatures to their own death warrant.
And I am sure a large portion of the population is absolutely outraged.
