No my friend, we are not moving away from God, they are. There is such a divide in this country that I fear we will not survive as a one nation under God.

Yeah she has that throwback 70’s look. She is going to turn out to be a total disaster.

I’m not sure they will get what they want, but they want a race war.

Are you one of the menehunes that would mess up our office overnight behind locked doors when I lived on Maui? Weird things DID happen. Locals insisted it was the work of a menehune or two. ;)

I don’t think she read the book.

I remember both the sixties and the seventies.
And I’m oiling my shotguns. The same that were ready then.

I was a kid growing up then, first half of the 60s were great, then came everything else. In one of the documentaries about the zodiac killer, there's a memorable interview of a retired San Francisco detective who worked on the case back then.
He said "if you came to San Francisco in 1967, you were supposed to wear flowers in your hair; by 1969, you would have been well advised to carry a revolver."
The hoards of idealistic young people attracted a bumper crop of vicious cutthroats.

Id put the date when things started going down the toilet at November 22, 1963. It wasnt that JFK was a great president, but it was that an insignificant, unimportant nobody changed the world. That demonstrated that it can be done to other insignificant, unimportant nobodies.

I remember them, too. Could be that the turmoil then was a rehearsal for even worse chaos in the works now.
