Oooooh, it certainly was! Especially since it took it’s jolly good time moving off to the east. Just sat there strobe-lighting the clouds and shooting sparks.
The only bad thing is it apparently knocked out the phone line as it built up over this area. There were a lot of CLOSE hits before the storm moved on a little.
The phone guy came here today and discovered the problem is out along the main line, not the line to the house. A different crew will have to come out tomorrow to find the bad spot and repair it.
Guess I need to head to the garage to work on Baby. It’s nice and cool outside now.

You'll enjoy the smell of this cooking.
MUSHROOMS IN SHERRY-CREAM SAUCE
1 lb fresh mushrooms
4 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 cup half-and-half
1-1/2 tbsp dry sherry
Rinse, pat dry and halve the mushrooms, if large. In a large skillet, melt the butter. Add the mushrooms; saute until golden, about 5 minutes. Stir in the flour, salt and pepper. Gradually stir in the half-and-half and sherry. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, stirring often.

Noppers, I’m at home with gramps and we’re watching some action flicks; just finished up with Transporter 1&2 with Jason Stratham (not in the same evening though). Leaving out Sunday for a four day trip. I can post and fly at the same time. It’s not like chewing gum LOL
