Conservative activist Dinesh D’Souza faced political persecution after he directed and released anti-Obama film, “2016: Obama’s America”. He was indicted over illegal campaign contributions.
It was an obvious witch hunt.
On Thursday, President Trump announced publicly he would be issuing a full pardon to Dinesh D’Souza.
The New York Attorney General is so angry over the presidential pardon of Dinesh that she wants to get rid of double jeopardy to go after him again.
Dinesh D’Souza celebrated on his Twitter account with an epic smack down of the Obama hack who made his life hell, former US Attorney Preet Bharara.
Dinesh blasted the Obama hack on Thursday with a viral smackdown!
D’Souza also thanked President Trump and everyone for praying for him and supporting him over the years.

From Article II, Section 2 of the United States Constitution:
“...and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.”
Every court has taken that to mean that the offense must be a federal offense, not just that the offense occurred within the United States.
For example, suppose I live in Maryland. And I am convicted of not paying my state income taxes. The president of the United States cannot pardon me. Only the governor of Maryland can.

Trump is an extremely brilliant, street-smart guy from Queens who is not the least afraid to draw outside the lines if necessary.
To Trump, the law is not a suicide pact, neither is the constitution.
If he has to do it to protect the people he will break the nation apart after the 2020 election.
(I have long held, and often posted, that it would some day come to this and that it could only occur without massive bloodshed under the rule of a brilliant conservative champion...which is exactly what we have in Trump, a man I believe has been called by God to fulfill a mission)
And an absolutely amazing thing would occur if he did it...every last one of the illegal immigrant leaches the dems/Marxists have brought in to ensure they would rule over America instantly become an unbearable, existential burden upon them.
The working people will have moved on and set up new laws to disallow welfare to non-citizens of their new nation... thus the Marxists are stuck with many tens of millions of useless, rowdy, angry, needy people with zero skills and no moral compass.
Unable to any longer force tax payers to subsidize their useless voters their part of the nation will dissolve into total anarchy and become a world pariah...an object lesson even more astonishing than Venezuela or Zimbabwe.

Of course, the NY scumbag will likely attempt to impose state charges, ex-post-facto - which, had he done so in the first place, then no federal pardon would have been possible.
However, I don’t now if it is legally permissible in this case to impose state penalties.

Such a mess. It makes me sick to think of all the damage that nutty judges get away with. It is very rare that they are removed or even punished for their often clearly illegal rulings.
Trump is not just fighting the ComDems, it is the embedded bureaucraps from both parties that see Trump as a threat to their power. Same with Congress.
