Former President Bill Clinton appeared uncomfortable as NBC reporter Craig Melvin confronted him with the legacy of the Monica Lewinksy scandal, in an appearance on the "Today" show that aired Monday.
"Nobody believes I got out of that for free," Clinton claimed. "I left the White House $16 million in debt."

From what I’ve heard previously, most of the Clinton debt was due to unpaid legal fees, legal fees incurred due to his own behavior. But he’s a victim?
Does he ever think of how he messed up the life of Monica Lewinsky?
In other words, as we all knew, Clinton Inc. bought their way out of the perjury impeachment. In the long term, it didn’t hurt his finances; their portfolio is worth $80,000,000 now. Some people would say that means Bill and Hillary are worth $80M, but that’s just their finances. As people, they aren’t worth $0.02 between them, or even worth spitting on.
