The U.S. officially hit a new low in birth rate and, somehow, scientists are astonished.
Experts will argue this is merely a natural phenomenon — potentially the product of demographic transition, meaning, as a developing society reaches new technological echelons, a longer period of education is necessary for an increasingly complex workforce. This causes higher investment in children, which means fewer children are born. That’s one contributing factor.
Other parties will argue the couples are having children later. Male and female childbearing ages have risen to 28 and 30.9, respectively. This is another contributing factor.
Yet, scientists never ask themselves the most important question: What incentive do modern men have to get married?

A woman investing in a Harvard PhD gives up A LOT if she has kids, at least for awhile, probably for a long time. So fewer kids

I have another take on this.
Some of the basic building blocks of Testosterone are Vitamin D and Zinc.
What do modern parents tell their kids?
Cover up from the sun. Stay in and watch TV. Lather up with sunscreen when you go out. That limits the Vitamin D.
Do not eat red meat or eggs too much cholesterol. There goes the Zinc.
We were designed to run around outside near naked, killing and eating all sorts of tasty animals and their eggs.
Also have read but do not know for sure that soy products reduce testosterone. Lot of vegans and their kids on that.
The goal of the extremist feminists is to perfect the use of cloning and stem cells to the extent that the traditional way of reproduction is no longer required. From there,we will be one generation away fro,m it being illegal to be Male.

SO FAR, feminism hs been faaaaar more destructive to civilization and Western Civ (but I repeat myself) than NUCLEAR WEAPONS.

Just myself but I married an older man because the males (they don’t deserve to be called ‘men’) my age are all just little boys in big bodies.
I wonder what will happen for my daughters when the come of age and there won’t be any men around at all.

Priorities of educated women seem to be more related to culture and values than to education per se.
So many things can be said about what you have said.
Firstly, congrats on a happy marriage.
Secondly, you touch on how men, males, are raised, and what the socialization process is, etc. Boys are not being raised the same way they were decades ago. Too many boys, and children in general, are raised without a father in the home. Too many without fathers have no other male role models.
Please delineate the differences between those you do believe merit being called men and those you don’t believe merit being called men.
