How can all these “smart” people have been so shocked? I was pleasantly surprised Trump pulled it off but shocked? Not. Trump had the winning message and Hillary did not plus she’s a crook.

I wonder if the uptick in Trump’s polls are partly from non persons of color saying “don’t call me a white supremacist!” and non feminist males saying “don’t say I have male privilege and have no right to a good life because I must be keeping women down from advancement!”
These demographics would keep totally silent and secret because we have no freedom of speech in America, but then, like in 2016 would quietly vote for Trump supporters for the House and Senate in the election booth.

The founders wanted someone who was naturally a citizen because they could not possibly be anything else to ensure no foreign influence on the Presidency.
Obama was born a British subject as a result of his foreign national father.
People born with multiple citizenships were precisely who the founders were excluding.

Give people a candidate worth voting for and they will come out and vote. They didn’t vote for Romney and they didn’t vote for McCain but they believed in Trump.
