You don't split up families. If a family enters the country illegally, you deport the entire family.
If a child of foreign diplomat or foreign national working temporarily in America is born on US soil, he is a still citizen of the foreign nation and goes home with his parents when they go home. Likewise, the children of illegal aliens should go home with their parents when they are deported.
Children on their own should never be allowed to cross our borders.
Children of foreign diplomats do not get automatic citizenship as you state, but children of temporary workers/students/visitors do (unfortunately under current interpretations) get citizenship by birth in the US.
And there is nothing - NOTHING - to stop anchor babies from tagging along with Mom or Dad who is being deported.
The Fake News Media is getting tiresome with their non-stop tear jerking stories of how Trump is separating children from their parents and so on.

This issue is related to the question of who has the responsibility for the care of children? A: the parents, or B: the State? The answer should be A, but the one we’re being given by the MSM is C: the USA, no matter which parents or State that they actually belong to. Apparently we are responsible for their kids, and they are not.
People who send their children to the border alone have already split up their families. Frankly they have put those children at a high risk of ending up in shallow graves.

We have a large group of illegals with children born in the US. The child then qualifies for full welfare benefits, which, of course, benefits the illegal parent(s). This problem needs to be addressed.

I am in the San Fernando Valley and if you want to know the real reason for the genuine outrage SoCal Liberals and Hollywood has for Trump and his desire to enforce Immigration Law, you just need to go to the West Side of LA and pay7 close Attention.
There are Thousands and Thousands of pricey,upscale homes that are 100% maintained and cleaned by ILLEGAL ALIENS, the Majority of Construction Workers are Illegal Aliens, Restaurants,warehouses,stores,... the List is endless

I have yet to see any proof that CHILDREN are crossing the border alone from Mexico to the US. When the definition of children is 16+ years old, that’s nonsense. What children - real children 5 to 10 years old are crossing the border? Malarkey. Why aren’t the news writers called on this when it’s discussed? Too sensible?
There is a new house being built on the lot next to us. The construction started in March with the placing of the septic tanks and drain field about two years after the lot was cleared of 50+ trees. No sewer system in this and many other subdivisions here. Bummer - but I digress.....
I find the whole process very interesting and in three months from laying the foundation to the roof going on, siding going on and today placing bricks on some of the exterior walls, there have been only Mexicans working on the house. I see black drivers of the trucks delivering building materials but absent that no black laborers. This is GA.
We lived in Southern CA for years before retiring and we saw the Mexicans in the strawberry fields in OC on our way to work mornings and on our way home every night. Back breaking work.
I’ve seen the guys here take shingles off a conveyer to the roof, placing them across their shoulders and walking on the roof ridge to put them down. I can’t believe the balance they have. This is not to praise the hiring of what are no doubt illegals but the hard work and efficiency at their jobs. There is no doubt - they are hard workers.
Big question - why aren’t there blacks getting those jobs?
