Thursday in Michigan at the Mackinac Policy Conference, former House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said there was “no Republican Party” in the era of President Donald Trump.
Boehner said, “There is no Republican Party. There’s a Trump party. Republican Party is kinda taking a nap somewhere.”
He continued, “Well, you know, Donald Trump, who I know well, was one of my supporters, when I was speaker if I was having a rough week, Trump would call me, pat me on the back, cheer me up, played a lot of golf together. But president? Really? I never quite saw this.”

Boehner’s Republican Party is not taking a nap, it is dead and waiting to be buried. If Trump changes the R after his name that puts Boehner’s crew six feet under.
CryBoener was in Alabama working to get Roy Moore defeated last fall. But it wasn’t in the news. I only knew he was here because a college friend saw him at a Starbucks Homeless Shelter.
I don’t think he drinks as much since he joined that pot company.
Boehner, Boehner...I think that is an ancient Gothic word for “Obama’s Doormat.”
Even worse, he admits Donald Trump was a friend to him and he returns the favor with a knife in the back.
The Bush League Republicans do not want to give up control of the party.

The support for Trump was so strong, President Trump unexpectedly produced coat tails that allowed Republicans to maintain control of the Senate against even more overwhelmingly bad odds.
Problem is, many Congressional Republicans are not part of that Republican Party that elected Trump President and allowed Republicans to keep control of the Senate.
In fact, the Republicans in both houses of Congress have been fighting the Trump agenda and the will of the Republican Party voters and have instead defended and pushed foreword the policies of Barak Obama and the Democrat party.

For example: Everyone knows the Republicans would never think of having a summit with North Korea trying to de-nuclearize the Korean Peninsula.
Frankly the North Korea thing has them ALL scared shitless that he'll have some success, making them ALL look like little league players in a MLB game.
