Important information about what anyone can do...make calls.
I sure hope they can get the VA issues under control soon. Very important.

Howdy, PRO.
How are things up your way? Still fairly comfy or has it gotten hot again?
Been fairly decent here but the thermostat is getting ready to crank up.

HIya radu!
We've cooled down significantly, into the '70's, feels good!
But next week has more summer weather in store for us if we believe the forecast.
Son's over tonight and I'm getting ready to send him home as I get up early tomorrow.
How's the little Suvi kitteh doing? Fitting in?

Hey, there, radu!
Indeed we don’t....because they never forget us! They do what they do FOR us!
It was a good day, though it got up to 106. 4% humidity. Like being in a furnace. I went to lunch with friends over in Midland and it was fun catching up with what is going on with them. Nearly got branded by my seat belt when getting back in the car.
Hope your day was good, too. How’s Miss Suvi doing? Does she seem to be getting some meat on those little bones? Is she still making a pin cushion out of your legs? :)
I feel so bad for Ghost and Little Black Kitty out in the heat. They find the best place to at least stay out of the sun, and I make sure they have plenty of water.
Oh!!!!! Two times now, I have let my finger touch Ghost’s ear while pouring his food and he didn’t attack me. There is hope!

Ooooooo, your temps sound divine! We haven’t been quite that cool but have enjoyed low 80s due to that storm system that moved through from the Gulf.
High 80s and low 90s ahead for the next week with rain and storm chances almost every day.
Had a NICE thunderstorm a little while ago with awesome lightning zipping overhead.
Suvi’s doing great. And she’s been kind enough to give my lap a break tonight. LOL! She’s on top of the desk keeping a close eye on me, though, in between naps.

Oh MAN, that’s just too hot! Just thinking about it is enough to make one break out in a sweat. LOL!
Sounds like you ad a fun afternoon, though, in spite of the heat. Always nice to get together with friends and yuk it up.
I reckon it was a good enough day. Got the grocery shopping done without getting rained on, then had a bodacious storm hit at suppertime with lightning right overhead. It was raining at the time so I had to stand on the porch but I got a couple of decent lightning shots.
Suvi’s doing fine. At the moment she’s asleep on top of the desk but every now and then when I look up, she’s peeking over the edge at me. The best thing is my lap is empty tonight. LOL
Poor Ghost and Little Black Kitty. At least they have plenty of water to stay hydrated and that’s key to their well-being.
Need to wiggle your finger on Ghost’s ear to scratch it a little. He’ll quickly figure out it feels good and want more. :-)

I’m working up to the wiggling my finger part. I was thrilled he let me touch his ear without him reacting. He’s seen me pet Black Kitty so I guess he thinks maybe I MIGHT be ok. :)
The other day when hubby watered, there was a bare spot in the yard...imagine that in this heat. LOL....and those kitties thought it was great, since it was damp from the water. Not muddy...it soaks in too fast for that.

Seeing Black Kitty enjoy being petted helps a lot. He sees that she WANTS you to touch her and trusts you. Progress should speed up a little now. Before you know it, you’ll be able to sit in the chair with him on your lap. :-)
Bet they enjoyed lying on that damp spot in the yard. A way to cool off in that horrid heat.

Yes, we do have a new babeh kitteh. She showed up two days ago. Poor little thing hadn't eaten for a while - - very boney under her fur, but she's putting weight on already. I'm guessing she's around 7 weeks old - - far too young to have been tossed out.
I posted a pic of her the other night but it's probably lost a ways back in your pings. Here it is again ....
