Personnel Missing - Korea (PMKOR) (Reported for ALL Unaccounted For)
(Excerpt) Read more at dpaa.mil ...
On this Memorial Day, we need to remember these men, and press North Korea to release all remains that they have, so that they can be returned to their families.
I recently read that approximately 5,000 US dead were buried in cemeteries established by the US Army in areas that were overrun by NK or Chinese troops. Another 2,000 or more were buried in the DMA and their graves were lost in the shuffle.
My wife’s uncle, Roy Robertson, is one of them. Thank you.
Why would you post this in breaking news?
It won’t be here long.
How do we propose to get them back?
about 5,000 were buried in North Korea. Sometime in the 1980’s NK said they were going to dig them all up, because they were in the way of road construction. I’ve read that the NK’s have a warehouse where the remains are stored. I don’t know if that is true, but they should be pressed on the issue, as part of any deal that is made.
North Korea caught off balance

It has been breaking news for many every day of the past 63 years. What better time of the year to remind America this terribly important point is yet unresolved?
(I appreciate that you are well-versed on our nation's naval power and a strong Navy supporter, but lighten up on this issue.)
