The theme of foreign intervention in American elections just got bigger after Judy Woodruff recently tweeted that "James Clapper ... personally concluded Russians not only influenced but DECIDED outcome of 2016 election." The statement comes from Clapper's forthcoming book, portions of which have been read aloud on TV.
Less than eighty thousand votes in three key states swung the election ... buying advertisements on Facebook promoting Clinton's support of the Black Lives Matter movement and ensuring those ads ran only on the pages of white conservative voters in swing states... they created lies that helped Trump and hurt Clinton and promoted these falsehoods through social media and state-sponsored channels to the point that the traditional US media were unwittingly spreading Russian propaganda... they ran a multifaceted campaign and sustained it at a high level from early 2015 until Election Day 2016... Surprising even themselves, they swung the election to a Trump win.

Now the confident narrative in political globalization has given way to Clapper's abject panic. It's the complete reverse. The sky is falling -- has fallen. Special counsel Mueller, even should he succeed in pursuing his narrow investigation on Russian interference to a conclusion will almost certainly miss 99.9% of the foreign influence silently corrupting Washington.
They will miss it it because it is baked into the global institutions which were ironically their greatest boasts. Miss it because it's out in the open. The lobbying, the nonprofit foundations, the paid speeches, the revolving door hiring, the recruitment of immigrants pressured to cooperate whose circumstances are taboo due to political correctness -- all will remain untouched -- because maybe that's just how some people like it.

The panic from Clapper, Brennan, Holder and more is preparatory to what I am guessing is the next stage of their long assault on the USA and American self-government and, most of all, flyover white Americans:
Riots and murders and arsons; campus violence; more police assassinations; the attempt to mount 60's style protests; a campaign of MSM media hysteria and incitement to encourage ever more violence and extremism.

So... a bunch of FACEBOOK ADS, those things NOBODY reads anyway, MADE a ton of “White Conservatives” decide to change their vote from crooked, socialist Hillary Clinton to Republican Donald Trump???

I say let them blame Russia for the loss. I hope they keep blaming Russia in 2018 and again in 2020. Let them think Facebook ads swung the election. Democrats should stay on message and not change their platform. Hey! there are Russians buying ads again.

Why, I too was all set to push that Chad for old Hildabeast til a Facebook ad popped up and I ...and I JUST couldn’t resist voting for the Donald!
There’s also the possibility of a burning old tire accident in his future...
I had a conservative blog back in 2011 -12 and thought it great to have ads from google, but all I got were Obama pop up ads for president so I stopped Google’s access and the ads stopped popping up.

The comments are even more interesting. We always knew here at FR that the big problem for the US is the cells infiltrating our country post-Nixon/Kissinger detente with Red China. The bigger problem pointed out in the poster’s comments is the intellectual weakness of America caused by a century of Kantian takeover in the Ivory Tower now descended into pure nonsense.

You didn’t mention where his hat is located. . . somewhere up inside his large intestine where his head has been, and most likely is still residing.
Clapper suffers from that common Liberal condition Rectal Cranial Interposition, for which the only treatment is an Abdominal Fenestration procedure, which at least will allow them to see where they’re going, as most of them got into this condition by bending over backwards to avoid facing the facts.
For those who bent too far forward to duck their heads between their legs trying to escape blame, the retro-fenestration procedure can only let them see where they’ve been.
One thing that both have in common when they enter this debilitating condition: their heads are always found to be missing any semblance of brains.
