Never pick a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel, the saying goes. Yet the Trump administration is picking a fight with American newspapers over something they buy at even greater cost and quantity: newsprint.

Its hard to understand the Canadians.
They vote in a Liberal, and cut down trees like Paul Bunyan.
...He cuts down trees. He skips and jumps.
He likes to press wild flowers.
He puts on women’s clothing
And hangs around in bars...
I wish I was a girlie just like my dear papa.
I still remember the first time I saw that skit.
Really? The Marxist State Media is so far out of touch with reality. Printed papers are a dying breed because they are biased, expensive and slow. In fact the MSM is pushing the digital media because it is easier to cover their tracks. They have to face the fact that with printed media someone may possess the unchanged original. With digital media they just change the master and charge that copies of the original were edited by the adversaries.
And the US is still shipping recycled paper to Europe.
True. They only knows what it means to THEM -— “We’re free to publish anything we WANT!”

I don’t think you mean ‘well crap’.
I think you mean ‘unwell crap’, as in unwiped crap.
Excellent point. As one who lives in Maine for about 30 years and has watched paper mills close one question comes to mine. Why did not a group of newspapers buy a paper mill or two. Simple vertical integration?
Henry Ford made autos but also the steel and glass for the cars. He has some ownership in the iron ore mine in either Minnesota and/or Michigan and he had his own fleet of ore boats on the Lakes to carry the ore to the Detroit area.
Newspapers are obsolete in this electronic day and age. Eco-nazis are constantly pushing to do away with disposable plastic and paper bags, take-out food containers, and now there’s pressure to ban plastic straws and other useful products. Newspapers are no longer useful, as most publishers are publishing online content accessible by electronic devices. So boo-hoo, time for liberal newspapers to be retired. Let’s agree to save some trees for something truly useful (like housing etc.).
LOL
Newsprint is made out of trees. Baby trees. Why do the newspapers want to kill baby trees?
