Well, the press hasn’t tried this approach to hammer President Trump. I hope someone tells the smartest Bishop in the world that there will be a price to pay. Always is with Trump bashing.

She may have slipped it in this time and who knows Harry may be on board with her mission. YET. The mission and long standing policy of the monarchy is to stay neutral as possible on politics. Given this important tradition that has allowed the longest monarchy in the world to survive, any more continued BS from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will go over like a lead balloon.

Besides. Charles will be king soon and he has his own politics that will be tough to keep neutral. Thus if there is going to be a pushing of an agenda it will be the kings. Poor Duke and Duchess will find out soon enough that sixth (soon fifth--barring no more babies out of the William and Kate world) in line to the throne means swallowing a lot of personal agenda if not mostly all. Which in Meghan's case. Is a good thing for the country.

Not at all surprised. My gut tells me that Meghan may not be the most respectable woman that one might encounter.

The BBC claimed that it was the Dean of Westminster (the man in charge of St. George’s chapel) who suggested to the Archbishop of Canterbury that Rev. Curry be invited.

I heard his speech and I didn’t have a problem with most of it, even though he went off the rails a few times.

What the Rev. Curry says here in America, THAT I take exception to.

“I wouldn’t say he ‘stole the show.’ I’d say he embarrassed himself in from of the older members of the royal family and all Americans.”

HM was not amused I can assure you of that! Now the Brits know the kind of drivel we are routinely subjected to.

Amazing how a hot flamingo could mess up a guys mind and eventually his life. A cautionary tale.

Wonderful guy!
His offer so kind...ok, ship them all to his church so he and his church can care for them all (all that is...all).
Let his cup overflow.

Might add that the Queen has little leverage to decide who her successor will be, other than living to be 150 or so. She may want Prince William to wear the crown someday but that’s a wish & nothing more.

Charles is an enviro nutjob who likes to dress up like Sheikh of Araby, but he is the future King. No telling which way palace politics will go when that happens. Royals have utterly forgotten their purpose and are acting out in unpredictable ways. Harry’s military service may have been the high point in his public life.

I thought we learned this over two hundred years ago. Recall that saying that you can choose your friends but not your relatives? In Britain you can choose your friends but not your head of state, outside of violent revolution.

Thought the royals weren’t supposed to play politics. Smells like Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex did.

Yes, and Harry the Red, born with golden spoon in his mouth, has been drawing the race card. I guess he never considered that maybe some people think she's a left wing, America hating, typical Hollywood skank.

“We reject the practice and pattern of lying that is invading our political and civil life. .... “But when public lying becomes so persistent that it deliberately tries to change facts for ideological, political, or personal gain, the public accountability to truth is undermined.”

That admonition should be directed toward yourself, “Rev.”

I wouldn’t say he ‘stole the show.’ I’d say he embarrassed himself in front of the older members of the royal family and all Americans.

As always, spot on! My thoughts, exactly.

You’re right! It’s like Sammy Davis Jr. ‘playing the role’ of ‘Bishop!’

Oy! These people! I can’t seem to say that often enough, today!

Oh. Very nice, The Mirror. Just because the guy is black, you had to use the word, "stole", eh? Bunch of racist wankers.

Or is it wanker racists?
