Do we need photos? Of course not.
Good for the father. Hope he and his daughter are O.K.
Good post. Tactics of criminals and responses of good guys ALERT! Learn BUMP!
Looks like one brave black man vs. more stupid “entitled” black thugs who still think Obama has “empowered” them.
It’s Memphis and based on a local video and a lack of suspect descriptions, it’s most likely black on black crime.
Hope the kid didn’t sustain any hearing damage. That would suck.
Glad for the outcome, but I hope the baby’s hearing isn’t permanently damaged. You do what you gotta do, and live with the consequences.

Papa bear this time, remember, center of mass when shooting. Well done Dad, that’s what we are for.
Chase said he heard three to four gunshots. The father is believed to have shot at least one of the suspects.
The four suspects dashed back to a black Infiniti and fled the scene, according to FOX13. They reportedly went to a fire station and dropped off the wounded suspect, who was then taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.
Its unclear if the father will face any charges for shooting the suspect during the attempted robbery.
Chase said he didnt think the father, who was not identified, should face any consequences.
"He was doing what any father should have did: protect his child. And I also told the police whether he had a gun license or not, it was a righteous shot," Chase said. "He did what any man would do for his kids."
When you carry concealed. Remember to keep your use hand clear and assess your surroundings. Dress to truly be concealed and not print the fact that you are armed. Normally your shooting hand is the one you do most mundane stuff with. Pick up a bag of groceries, open doors, etc. it takes practice and patience to break that habit. It may be a right Constitutionly but it takes work to be responsible and safe when carrying. IMHO
Good reminder. Thank you.
I would imagine so, too.
Good job, Dad.
Uh. OK.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. Four men are in police custody after allegedly attacking a father holding his infant daughter outside an Orange Mound McDonalds.
This all happened as the man was walking back to his car at the McDonalds near Airways and Lamar Tuesday afternoon. Police said thats when he was attacked by the four men all while holding his baby daughter.
The victim says he was put in a headlock and chocked.
He was able to get a gun out of his car to fight back and ended up firing shots, striking one of the crooks.
Court documents said one of the suspects then grabbed the victims gun and they took off.
But it wasnt hard for police to find these suspects.
Within minutes, police found Cortez Cole, Quinton Webb, Terrell Pullen and Ladarius Pugues at a fire station on Lamar. Pugues was taken to the hospital for a gunshot wound, but hes expected to be okay.
Pughes, Webb and Pullen all have the same listed address.
We went there Wednesday and met a man who says hes Webbs father and Pullen and Pughes grandfather.
He claims this wasnt a random robbery.
Everybody knows each other.
The man, who did not want to give his name, says the group has had problems in the past so the guys went to talk to the victim. He admits they didnt handle themselves correctly.
Im hurt. But other than that, the law has got to take its course.
He says his family members did not have a gun.
Terrell, he was trying to make a career for himself and his child.
As far as the violence breaking out in public with a child so close, he says that should never have happened.
When is comes to my children, regardless of who they are, that little girl that he had with her, thats my future. Im not going to knock him about my future because all children are my future.
All four suspects are charged with robbery.
WREG talked to a man who witnessed it all and called 911 for help. He played a part in finding these suspects.
I also told her, be advised, if anybody comes to a hospital or anywhere right away with gunshots, itll nine times out of 10 be the suspect robbers. Of course, thats exactly what happened.
Its still not clear if the victim is facing any charges for firing his weapon.
Records show Cortez Cole, who is not a family member of the man we talked to, listed as the one carrying the gun.

If the incident had happened on Abernathy Avenue, or Martin Luther King Boulevard, we wouldn’t need pictures.
They should have set his parking brake before they chocked him. Bad move.
Not sure if he faces charges for firing his weapon? I guess there is always that question isn’t there?
