The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday sent a clear message to millions of gun owners in California: You're living in a Second Amendment-free zone.
In an order on Monday, without explanation or comment, the Court rejected a civil rights lawsuit brought by the Calguns Foundation and the Second Amendment Foundation. Those groups had hoped the justices would rule that the Second Amendment continues to apply even in the progressive enclaves of the left coastand that law-abiding California residents possess the right to buy and sell firearms.
Instead, the Supreme Court declined to hear the case, a decision that underscores its willingness to let California legislators and judges evade the Second Amendment within the borders of the state.

Their lawsuit challenges a decision by Alameda, a California county that includes Oakland and other east bay cities, to enact a zoning law so onerous it effectively bans gun stores. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit sided with Alameda in 2017, saying that "no historical authority suggests that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to sell a firearm."

How do you put that line in your post?
Wow! Well that answers my question if another Civil War is coming.
Cool, I had no idea it was so easy! And it looks very professional :-) good job.
Does anyone know the case name or number for this? Last time the court refused to hear a case, Thomas signed a separate decision blasting the court for being cowards. Would be interested in seeing if he did something similar in this case.
HTML is beyond me! I just paste the quote, put a couple of dashes ( - ) under it and voila, the line appears
just testing .... hm, Doesnt seem to work for me
Because liberals screw up every state they live in so bad that they themselves can’t live there any more and move on to other states to destroy them as well with their asinine view on life then I think Red States should impose requirements on liberal voters and liberals that move into Red States that they must be required to purchase guns, specifically the so called “assault” weapons and all magazines must be capable of 20 rounds or more.
See if they like being forced to buy guns and see if that will start the conversation on how asinine their ideas are being imposed on normal people.
LOL!
Best meme ever!

The Supreme Court is no longer in compliance with the plain reading of the Constitution. Do we even have a Constitutional republic at all?
I can’t believe this is happening. It’s like we’re in some bad dream where the country has been overtaken by Communists. Oh, wait...
Please, please don’t use a page-wide line as a separator! It is already being used to separate one commenter’s text from another’s and would be confusing. Plus it takes more effort than just using the i-tag and the p-tag.
Use
>> at the beginning and <<
at the end of a quote.
That is all I used in typing this text for you, as wll as jut ending a line by hitting the “Enter” key.
Ok.

That means at most four judges voted to hear the case. There may be one or more who disagreed with the ruling but thought it was a bad case to hear for various reasons, or it may be that Kennedy (the perennial swing vote) didn't want to hear it. In any case, we have four ideological tyrants on the Supreme Court who will never vote for American freedom: Ginsburg, Kagan, Breyer, and Sotomayor.
Ok, that worked.
“But for the Supreme Court to decline here in this case, does that mean the majority of the justices didnt want to hear it?”
What a bunch of worthless f*ckers! They are even more worthless than the Congress! So we have two of the three branches of our Federal Government taking pay for not doing the jobs for which “we hired them!”
But the ability to buy firearms is not a logical extension of keep and bear arms.
= = =
I interpret “keep and bear” in terms of raising livestock as they would do back in the day.
Keeping livestock is - feeding, caring for, breeding (reproducing), trading, selling, protecting, etc.
Very well said. Ditto’s from me. :-)
Lol!
Most days I read the news and then I think of something out of 1984. It is scary how fast we are getting there.
