We’d turn some heads, indeed! LOL!
Yes, it WAS a steam bath here today. The humidity is rising as the system over FL moves up this way and it was 90 degrees late this afternoon when I made a quick store run.
It’ll start cooling off a little tomorrow through the rest of the week but rain chances will go up each day.
I saw some light rain blobs on the radar in your area this afternoon. Did you get any or was it a case of the rain evaporating before it reached the ground?

We got such a light sprinkle that it didn’t even dampen the sidewalk. Very disappointing. The major storms were to our east, as usual!
I figured it had to be horrible there since even we had highish humidity this morning. It does make my skin feel less dry, which isn’t awful. As long as the AC is on. LOL!
Hope you get a decent rain that cools things down a bit for you.

Well that stinks. I’d hoped y’all got at least one good shower out of it.
It was pretty steamy here, plus there wasn’t the nice breeze we’ve had lately to take the edge off.
I didn’t mind getting housework done today because it was inside where it’s cool. LOL
We could use some rain but we don’t need it this weekend, and that’s when the chances are the highest. It’ll put a damper on the military vehicle show.

It would be nice if it did but that won’t be the case. It’ll rain on and off throughout all three days of the event. :-(

Woohoo....a fun day!! ((HUGS))
It’s actually raining here....it’s loverly!! We never got the rain that cleaned up the dirt and crud from winter. And so far in my neighborhood there have been no street sweepers. So dirt and gravel abound.

I have nothing to do at all with the show and swap meet. But I’ve put on enough car shows and cruise-ins over the years to know how much work is involved and hate it when there’s rain. It cuts down on the turnout.

That is so disappointing to the ones who have worked that hard to get it ready. Wish the rain would just go around the location. Were you planning on going to the event? Are they going to let people ride in the vehicles there? Or just look?

You bet it’s a disappointment. Maybe it’ll rain around the area but not at the museum. Still, some of those who have planned to show a vehicle or set up in the swap meet might stay home. They’re all probably watching the weather forecast as closely as I am.
I’ll go up Saturday to clean more uniforms but will make a run through the vehicles that are there for show.
No, people won’t get to ride in the vehicles. They’re simply to look at and admire. I’m curious as to what will show up.

I hope they’ve been advertising some about it! If they have a FB page it can be a big help sometimes.
Hope the fans all work inside that hot building! Whew!

Yes, they’ve been advertising. And they do have a FB page though I’ve never seen it. I don’t do FB for any reason.
Only the small room lacks AC and it wasn’t too bad in there the other day when it was so hot. I only got uncomfortable when I made the trips up and down the stairs with the uniforms I was finished with.
It’ll be cooler this weekend so should be just fine.
