Sarah Palin said Thursday that Sen. John McCain's (R-Ariz.) admission that he regrets picking her as his running mate in his failed 2008 presidential bid is "like a perpetual gut-punch."
The former Republican vice presidential nominee said the senator's recent remarks were "not what Sen. McCain has told me all these years, as he's apologized to me repeatedly for the people who ran his campaign," she told the Daily Mail before speaking at a pro-Trump PAC fundraiser.
In his upcoming memoir, The Restless Wave: Good Times, Just Causes, Great Fights, and other Appreciations, the 81-year-old senator laments not selecting former Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.) as his vice presidential candidate.
McCain still gives Palin high marks for her work on his campaign.
"I attribute a lot of what we're hearing and reading regarding McCain's statements to his ghostwriter or ghostwriters," Palin told the Daily Mail, saying she would have to hear from McCain herself.
McCain is currently at home in Arizona where he is receiving treatment for brain cancer, but remains a strong voice in the GOP and the Senate where he often criticizes the Trump administration.
“Sarah, if not for you, I would never have voted for this loser.”
Yep. I did NOT vote for McCain - I was hoping to see what Sarah could accomplish in SPITE of him. :)
God Bless Sarah Palin... she’s a good woman. Better than McCain deserved - then or now.
McCain signed off on the book, it is a gut punch and McCain should be sorry that he hits girls.
Taking some pots shots at a running mate on the way out into the abyss is very low class.
Ditto, if not for Sarah, McStain would have lost all 50 states...
.
Do you honestly think the depraved criminals that run our medical industry would be interested in anything that cures their cash cow?
They are actively trying to get their cousin criminals in the FDA and FTC to outlaw anything natural.
Dr David Williams has published considerable info in his news letters in Sept 2005, and April 2016 on Metatrol and Ave.

>> “Ditto, if not for Sarah, McStain would have lost all 50 states.” <<
True.
The real problem was that she came close to winning it for him, and were it not for the massive vote fraud that rules our elections, she would have. Counting only legit votes she did win it.
.
McCain family has a strong history in my home state of Mississippi from antebellum thru WWII etc
But man hes such a prick....he suffers from little guy syndrome exponentially
Puffed up self aggrandizement
Plus he is peculiar
No disrespect to other short men many of whom dont do that
At the end of the day...
Sarah is still here. Our gain.
He’ll be gone. No loss for us, AND our gain.
F*** him.
I wasn't easy orchestrating and setting up this pic.
Had to make sure Jim and Shelia were at the rope line.
Then I had one of my crew (Sal Russo-lol) - who had the ear of Sarah Palin - let her know that she would be meeting the creator of FreeRepublic.
Made sure my photographer was in place and by golly we pulled it off!
Thanks to Mary Pierson (no relationship to Katrina Pierson) for her excellent photography skills.
***Songbird regrets picking you?
Thats a Yuge Badge of Honor, Sarah***
My thoughts exactly, thanks for posting that.
And probably a lot of what Sarah Palin has always really wanted to say about John McCain was edited out by her NeverTrump ghostwriter, Nancy (and David) French.
Again, what jerk RINO Bushie recommended the Frenchs to Sarah Palin in the first place?
For me, this revelation is both sickening and saddening in many levels.
The two items that bother me the most are that McManchurian not only said this and said it publicly.
Youd basically never hear an official RAT saying something like this out loud. It goes back to the point that Ive made scores of times about party discipline: The RATS have it; the GOP doesnt. If the GOP did, think of how many more things The Don could have accomplished by this point in time.
At this point (health issues aside), Id vote for Joe Lieberman over McManchurian any day.
“...Youd basically never hear an official RAT saying something like this out loud....”
Yeah, they’re scum, but they’re scum that sticks together.
McCain, on the other hand...
Can’t leave us fast enough. Not nearly.
Very true.
McManchurian: A disloyal miscreant.
I understand something similar happened in 2004 when McQueeg was secretly plotting to find a way to run as Lurch’s VP. There was no way the Dems would accept him as the running mate (despite all his hard work to undermine the GOP from within). I think McQueeg was counting on utter bedlam by trying to pick the Hamlet of the Potomac as his running mate.
Right. I almost with that had happened just to embarrass that jerk McCain.
