I mention here that not long after the excavation many began to describe the Great Boat of Khufu as the black box to the construction of the pyramids, and that its contents would reveal all the information that would bring us in proximity to the solution of the great mystery. With this I am in complete agreement, if only because this strange water vehicle, or I should say construction machine, plays a central role in my own theory. While I quite understand if you are somewhat mystified, I beg of you to continue on this exciting road of discovery.
Perhaps it cannot be overstated that the Great Boat of Khufu is nothing other than a water crane. In my opinion, the entire craft was specifically designed to lift objects. Its size allowed it to easily hoist stone blocks of two or three tons, and on open water it could transport these to wherever they were needed.

Look at the diagrams and you might agree that this could work.

Oh for goodness sakes, everyone knows the pyramids weee built by dinsosaurs that were being mind controlled by aliens.
You’re right. I was just trying to see how many folks I could lead into the bulrushes of ignorance as a joke.
The Pyramid is not hollow, it is filled in with the same stones as its perimeter. It could not have completed construction as there is no evidence the interior of the pyramid as an artificial lake.
I think the sense of the article is that the stones were lifted to the higher levels of the pyramid via ships that were movable water cranes.
As they hauled the stones upward, they would be dumped overboard to fill in the outer retaining walls. It’s just one of myriad theories that try to make sense of the construction since moving those huge stones by human effort without machinery of some kind seems impossible given the parameters of time, space, and volume.

This is fascinating stuff. Water used in the pyramids, used to float rocks up, and cranes to hoist them into place. Not too shabby an idea.

Works on all three of mine. Maybe your settings are too strict on cookies or whatever. I understand your caution but there is a lot of interesting—if sometimes ‘out of the box’—articles on ancient history there.
Thanks wildbill.
To move giant stones across the sand, ancient Egyptians may have found it easier to roll rather than drag them
