"...and did a horrible job in his VP debate."

Getting schooled by Dopey Joe Biden in a debate is not a good sign....

He’d take it all the way to Hitler in the bunker

I've learned to hate the Russians
All through my whole life
If another war comes
It's them we must fight

“Obama didn’t have a dead loss as an AG.”

Which one of Obama’s AGs do you wish Trump had appointed, Eric Holder, or Loretta Lynch?

Either of them. Conservatives and/or their close associates didn’t have their doors kicked in at four in the morning under Holder or Lynch. No conservative—much less Trump himself—lost their attorney client privilege until Jeff Sessions took over—and immediately handed off to Trump-hater Rosenstein.

You’d really prefer Obama’s DOJ? That’s quite a confession. Your Sessions Derangement Syndrome has entered its final stages.

Most GOPe Republicans have their spine and balls removed after taking office.

You see, this is the problem. I listed facts and you went ad hominem. You can’t argue with my facts—they’re *facts*.

So you attack me.

It’s the only tactic of the trust Sessions crew, and it’s old, tired and disgusting.

Good. Trump has him saying that. This is the mom’s 5 minute warning when we are leaving the park. It gets worse after that.

Why isn't Sessions saying this?

Unfortunately, I think you’re right. But I also think that the longer he keeps this going, the more dirt is going to come out about levels of corruption and real collusion between the FBI, DOJ, the Dem’s and their donors, that would/could/should do irreparable harm to those very same institutions and show that many of these folks should be in prison.

Now toss in the Manafort case and the case against the 13 Russians. It doesn’t take a guy like Turley to conclude that Mueller thought they were going to either roll over, take a plea, or never come back to the US, to fight these charges. Which are flimsy at best. For a guy like Manafort, he’s got money, knows the DC game, probably has as much dirt on everyone in DC as anyone. All he’s doing is saving those aces for later on in the game.

Then, add to the mix, the case against Gen Flynn. If you’re such a badass, why are you, the Special Counsel, asking for more delays in sentencing a guy that the FBI said, didn’t lie and you hid exculpatory evidence from? Because you know that is going to blow up in your face as well. And, when all is said and done, Mueller will try to blame it all on Strzok, McCabe, Page and Comey, to protect his own corrupt reputation.

Every lawyer in his group should be getting investigated to decide on disbarment.

You have no reason to be sorry for your cynicism. You are 100% right.

We all feel that way. There are some decent folks in DC, albeit a small number. Most of them are nothing but snake-oil salesman, just wanting to cash in on their position. Look at everything that is coming out about McConnell and his wife. He should be in prison for what he’s been doing.

The good ones are marginalized and labeled the fringe, by everyone else.

I’m not sure that’s what he’s talking about, actually wanting Holder or Lynch.

But, they were loyal to the cause and they didn’t need a wink or a nod to make sure things got done.

That also doesn’t mean that they did the right or legal things, either. They were partisan to the Nth degree and were willing to do all sorts of dirty shit to accomplish the desired tasks.

But.....

The DOJ is supposed to be an impartial part of the Executive branch that, operates independently, investigates criminal conduct and civil misconduct and prosecutes it, in an unbiased manner.

That is clearly not happening here and the current AG has, seemingly, deferred all control to one of the most corrupt, Rosenstein and his hitman, Mueller. They are flouting the law and throwing it right in his face.

Neither of those two would allow their President to be railroaded, allow an illegal Special Counsel to investigate him or otherwise allow criminal conduct to derail and hamper the administration.

All we can hope, at this point, is all the cryptic noise that comes from Q is true, about the thousands of sealed indictments, etc

With as many investigaters on this case who’ve left with a cloud of shame over their name, it’s only fitting that they did their abuse in service of Hillary Clinton who was kicked off the Watergate investigation for abuses of power.
