U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., apparently has no regrets about his role in the release of the so-called Steele dossier, which is said to contain salacious allegations about then-candidate Donald Trump.
In excerpts of his forthcoming book, The Restless Wave: Good Times, Just Causes, Great Fights, and Other Appreciations, the 81-year-old senator who is recuperating at home following recent cancer treatment and surgery acknowledges that he delivered the information to then-FBI Director James Comey.
(A)nd I would do it again, McCain writes, according to excerpts published by the Guardian.
Anyone who doesnt like it can go to hell, McCain adds, saying he did what duty demanded I do.

McCain claims Republicans are on the wrong side of the immigration debate, arguing that it has been driven by zealots who fail to understand immigrations key role in America exceptionalism.
The anti-immigration zealots need to be confronted before their noxious views spread further and damage for generations the reputation of the Republican Party, McCain writes, according to the Guardian.
McCain also expresses regret for choosing Sarah Palin as his running mate in 2008, instead of his friend, former U.S. Sen. Joseph Lieberman, D-Conn.

Did you ever think you'd read something as outlandish as that ... and realize it's TRUE?
If buried in Arizona, the dessert will become a yellow sea.
Nothing prevented McSwine from giving Steele dossier to the President either - but he wasn’t honorable enough to do that.
Once again he helped the democrats screw the republicans.
The Republican party should have thrown him out on the street years ago.
Maybe Arizona can finally have a real republican senator when McSwine takes the big sleep.
That picture needs a toilet paper roll dispenser attached to the stone.

Well, that goes to his arrogance.
People like McCain never do anything wrong.
If he did it, IT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO! BECAUSE HE’S THE ONE WHO DID IT! DAMMIT!
Normal people may regret some of their actions but not people like McCain. They consider themselves infallible even when they fail.
It says a lot that he would do the dossier again, but not choose Palin again.
If I were Palin, I would take that as a ringing endorsement that I was not a part of his evil and treason.
He doubles down on his evil acts and regrets the one decent thing that he ever did. Quite interesting.
It’s like cain saying; i would do it again and not change a thing.
Amen to that!
Hundreds of future psychiatrists are going to earn PhD’s doing their dissertations on this guy.
#6 is correct. Those who wanted something done just had to ask these two or they could be facing other criminal charges.
