Sen @OrrinHatch has sent a letter to @SenJohnMcCain apologizing for commenting on any potential plans for McCain’s return, as well as who should be invited to McCain’s funeral, Hatch’s Office confirms.

You should have seen his phony interview in the New York Review of Books this weekend! I don’t know who ghost-wrote his hilariously pretentious natterings on Hemingway and Fitzgerald. I suspect he’s been dead for two weeks and his daughter has been impersonating him.

McCain should apologize for being MIA, yes it’s very sad but when you have a terminal prognosis and you are unable to serve, you resign. Is it so friggin awesome to die a Senator?

Hatch proves once again he is a sniveling POS.
But if McCain resigned today, the Governor of AZ would appoint a replacement to serve until a special election is held this November (the winner of which would serve until January 2023), whereas if McCain resigned (or died) after May 31 then the Governor would appoint his replacement to serve until a November *2020* special election. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want a second Senate election in AZ this November. So please refrain from calling for McCain’s resignation until May 31 has come and gone.
Is anyone really surprised that Hatch apologized? It’s like getting upset when someone like Romney, McCain, Ryan, McConnel, or hell virtually any other GOPe speaks their mind. They are the biggest bunch of collective vaginas ever assembled...with the exception of the Dems of course.
