We have friends who farm hundreds of acres in central southern IL. It is a whole ‘nother world down there!
They are very Conservative, Christian, Trump voters, awesome hunters (Black Bear, Whitetail Deer, Elk, etc.) and they’d be the LAST Americans that would give up their guns. :)

If fraudulently documented foreigners can be protected from federal law by the state, no reason US citizens can’t be protected from the state by the counties.

Surely the Supreme Court will realize that “sanctuary” immunity from certain laws will never work and would almost certainly lead to Civil War.
I’m glad these counties in Illinois are highlighting the absurdity of California and other jurisdictions.
