This is what we are up against: smug, condescending Progressives. This Black journalist obviously thinks that he is morally and intellectually superior to white Christians. Yet because he lives in a leftist groupthink bubble, he can't even articulate why his opponents, us, think the way we think. Since we are daily bombarded with leftist propaganda, it's easy for us to know where leftists are coming from. However, Leftists, who claim to be so smart, can't figure us out because they never hear a cogent conservative argument, because they are so insulated. He is right on one matter: there is no room to compromise when the disagreements are so profound. They must be defeated.

What a steamin’ pantload of a column. It is not conservatives shouting down liberal speakers on campus. It is not conservatives forming large mobs to assault anyone they deem fascist (when the mobs are the ones behaving in a fascist manner). And Trump got elected largely because a professional governing class grew so aloof from the larger public that selling out American interests because SOP - and desirable. Pitts, like most progressives, completely and intentionally misrepresents what drives the Trump base - a desire not for an advantage over demographics, but a level playing field. Nothing more. And that laws and policies put the interests of American citizens first, no matter what their skin color.
