French President Emmanuel Macron warned on Sunday that war could ensue if U.S. President Donald Trump withdraws from the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, Reuters reported.
We would open the Pandoras box. There could be war, Macron was quoted as having told German weekly magazine Der Spiegel.
At the same time he added, I dont think that Donald Trump wants war.
Trump has imposed a May 12 deadline to reimpose sanctions on Iran unless the flaws in the existing agreement are fixed.

The Shah never declared war on us. The Ayatollah certainly did, and he didn’t seize control in 1970.
Sure it can avoid war, but not death or destruction at the hands of its new captors.
“So Iran will start a war, and its Trumps fault?”
Let’s say we stay in the deal. Iran keeps lying and produces a bomb and a launch platform in 7 years. In year 8, they launch one against Israel. Israel, with its defensive technology shoots it out of the sky. Israel decides to fire one back at the Iranians.
However, before that is done, Iran goes to the UN and pleads its case that Israel is trying to destroy Iran. The UN agrees and warns Israel that attacking Iran will lead to a world war.
The media goes nuts and not only blames Israel for trying to start a world war, they condemn President Mike Pence and Donald Trump for not pulling out of the Iranian deal when Trump was President. They demand Pence’s impeachment.
Breaking news for Macron: Iran is already waging war all over the Middle East.
War now or war later....What’s the difference?
Occupant of the White House is one quick answer.
“Sure it can avoid war, but not death or destruction at the hands of its new captors.”
I thought my sarcasm was obvious.
Surrender is a perfectly acceptable alternative in extreme circumstances. The Empire may be gracious enough to ClickWell, it was obvious, but it reminded me of when C-3PO tried to talk the rebels into surrendering in TESB.
macron needs to have his wife (mom) hug him and his Teddie more.
Trump hasn’t liked that nuclear agreement with Iran, since day one.
After North Korea, I expect to see Iran next in line to get his TLC.
Thanks and I agree with your comments also.
A deep state threat.
Having said that, I don’t think President Trump will take the “War” bait.
The most likely war is the civil war in Iran.
right - am 10 years off - a senior moment no doubt (too many these days) - thanks for the correction
