Summary synopsis of Korean language version (link above):
North Korea through the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) today stated that the barely one week old "Panmunjom Agreement" between Kim Jong Un and Moon Jae In is falling victim to "misinterpretation" by the United States and threatened the talks between Kim and Trump will go nowhere and "things will return to zero" if the following happens: a) there is no loosening of economic sanctions currently on North Korea even prior to denuclearization; b) there is any pressure on them in the area of human rights.
KCNA has, in fact, carried it, the official voice of the North Korean regime, stating also Kim Jong Un is in firm control of the talks from the DPRK side; further this statement is being relayed in major Japanese conservative daily "Sankei" Shimbun today in Japanese:

I see AP and CBS carrying it in the US as well.
Today (May 6th) KCNA, N. Koreas state media, attacked U.S. (claims) item-by-item.
It claimed that (U.S.) is misleading public opinion saying that the Panmunjom Declaration is a result of sanctions and pressure, and (U.S.) wont loosen sanctions and pressure, while bringing in strategic assets to Korean Peninsula.
It threatened that the intentionally provocative actions of U.S. against N. Korea would throw cold water on the budding atmosphere of dialog and makes the political climate back to square one.
(N. Korea) made the unexpected criticism, even questioning the prospect of summit, right before U.S.-N. Korea summit.
Experts explained that it is not an attempt to scrap the talk but rather a last minute skirmish designed to rally domestic support and not to lose initiative in negotiation.
Unexpected...
Sheep dip just continues to rule like an idiot child...of the Korn...
I am not totally convinced that Kim Jong In is really in charge in North Korea. There are a lot of high ranking Military Officers with a lot at stake in maintaining the status quo. I have felt for a long time that the “Fat Boy” might just be a puppet on their string. Stay tuned.
I didn't know that; It would be a deserving end.
Do you think China will intervene?
“Do you think China will intervene?” China has a huge stake in what will happen here. Any collapse in the North Korean Regime can have big refugee ramifications for China. You can bet that China is calling all the shots behind the scenes in North Korea.
Things aren’t going to “return to zero”. Somebody needs to introduce KJU to the Kelvin measuring system. His ass is going subzero if “things don’t work out”.
Like I said, it’s all about posturing and saving face.
Personally I hope NK tries to pull their usual crap as they have in the past. Trump will walk and ratchet up the sanctions. The results will be NK comes back weaker than they are now while Trump is that much stronger with his image of being tough enhanced.
Gee I wonder if any of this is true.
Nothingburger.
To the Asshat negative “it will never work” “told you so!” types, please go pound sand, you suckwad losers.
Friken vultures, hoping for failure.
Time to stop talking about Nobel prizes and get North Korea off the front page and simply send them a message that Trump will not be there until their seconds have worked out the major components of a deal which boils down to they first throw their weapons in the sea and then we lift sanctions in that order. Until that time we keep ratcheting up sanctions pressure. Call us when you’re ready, Kim
Does anyone believe Trump will hesitate to walk away?
><
Trump has said more than once that he would “respectfully walk away”.
The US must not lift sanctions to bring them to the table.
But, nothing drives us to immediately start excoriating them over their murderous system of government.
That can come later.
Additionally I am not opposed to the South and North freely trading while these discussions are underway, so long as there’s NO OTHER COUNTRY in the mix.
North and South only.
Let Norklandia see the benefit of eliminating the DMZ.
What do you mean, "We'll see"? You've been all over this site declaring, "Its all show and bull sh*t while implying we're all being duped.
And now it's, "We'll see"? Which is it?
Why not lift sanctions as soon as there’s an agreement in principle, and US inspectors are on the ground...unfettered.
Or, must we wait for the entire dismantling of the infrastructure?
I say as soon as they open the door to unfettered access.
IF that ever occurs.
I am also not opposed to free trade between the North and the South (only) while negotiations are underway. That single pipe could be cut if things go sour.
Rocketman MUST make the first move, to denuclearize, BEFORE any sanctions are lifted. Let Rocketman curtsy to Trump!
I’m wondering what the Norks are telling their grass eating people. I wonder when someone will be kidnapped and held for ransom. I’m all for negotiations but you have to pull the stinger and claws from the scorpions first.
That's a disingenuous statement Tokyo..The other day you declared the whole thing as being, "All show and bull sh*t" while implying everyone at FR were being duped. You said this repeatedly.
So why would you now say, "We'll see"? Is this to ensure your somewhat right either way this goes?☺
Does anyone believe that President Trump won't prevail?
So what if he has to turn the screws a little tighter?
President Trump has negotiated with a lot more difficult people that Kim, just imagine how hard the negotiations with the Mob were for concrete and all the other things that were required to build in New York City and elsewhere.
This is going to be a cakewalk compared to those people.
