{snip]The Bureau of Labor Statistics announced Friday that the U.S. economy added 164,000 jobs in April, pushing the unemployment rate down to 3.9 percent, the lowest since 2000.
When asked on CNNs New Day if Jarrett gives Trump credit for that, she deferred to giving Obama credit for starting the trend.
Look, I think we have to look at it over a longer horizon than that, she said. If you think about what the economy was like when President Obama took office, we were losing 750,000 jobs a month. Under his watch, the unemployment rate dropped in half and its encouraging to see that were continuing to make progress.

Of course she would say that. But there is no way you can make a case for it.
She has what I consider the most punchable face in the world.
I agree. She’s a demon out in the open and deserves to go back to Hell from where she came.
Hey - they set this precedent by blaming Bush for everything Obama screwed up - they will claim it’s always been their view that the previous President gets blame/credit for anything the current President does.....It’s accumulative - Damn that George Washington all to Hell!
We need Diamond and Silk to respond to this.
You know Trump’s doing well when Obama wants to take credit for his achievements.
We should give Obama credit for turning an 18-month recession into a five-year near-depression so as to try and force capitalism to bow before him.
When I call Obama an “economic illiterate”, that’s not racism. That’s fact.
Valerie Jarrett must be very confused!

The unemployment rate for Blacks was 15.5 last month. This is according to the latest report on the nations employment situation released this morning by the Bureau of Labor Statistics in its monthly Employment Situation report. This rate decreased from April when unemployment in the Black community stood at 16.5. For the nation as a whole unemployment fell slightly to 9.7 in the month of May. Among whites unemployment was 8.8; among Latinos unemployment was 12.4. Comparable April 2010 figures were 9.9; 9.0; and 12.5 respectfully.

95% of jobs under Obama were part time
And, don't forget obamacare mandates, NRLB edicts, war on small businesses, taxation upon taxation, illegal alien invasion, and other job killers, all to make the job environment worse than toxic.
The unemployment reversal was near instantaneous with the election; and a simple employment vs time graph proves this.
Jarrett, as with all Dems, just love to lie. For them, it's an indoor sport.
