Since the 2016 election Facebook has been cracking down on conservative and pro-Trump content.
Top conservative websites have seen a stunning drop in their Facebook traffic. This was no accident. This was the plan.
In January 2017, Facebook began making algorithm changes to make sure conservative news was no longer so influential. The Gateway Pundit Facebook traffic has consistently decreased with each algorithm change.
A March 2018 study by The Outline organization found conservative publishers were hit the hardest by Facebook algorithm changes. The study also showed that The Gateway Pundit was hit the hardest.
In March 2018 Western Journal also published a study that found conservative publishers were hit the hardest by the recent Facebook algorithm changes. The report found that liberal publishers actually saw a 2 percent increase in traffic. Conservative publishers lost an average of 14 percent in traffic.
Facebook official Campbell Brown, a former anchor on NBC and CNN, told attendees at a recent technology and publishing conference that Facebook would be censoring news publishers based on its own internal biases. And they did.

I agree. FB is a total waste of time when it comes to political articles as so many are false.
I hate to say it but some of my very conservative friends are the ones putting the fake articles out there. I wish they’d check it out prior to posting.
Anymore, I just don’t bother.
I use FB to keep up with family and friends.

Based upon comments from more conservative bloggers out there like Bombard’s Body Language, there’s a growing sense of urgency about all this!
Not only Facebook, but YouTube as well is censoring/shutting out more conservative commentators from its platform. Its getting ever more difficult for them share their insights.
Maybe “Rush” could help?
I came to like the WhatsApp deal. The rest of the platform....less so. I noticed over the last few days that the former CEO for WhatsApp was packing up and leaving FB...says he’s off to a new lab project.
Maybe someone can pick up the idea of WhatsApp and continue advancement without FB being involved.
No, no, you're wrong. The Left fully embraces the concept of Free Speech, as long as we understand their definitions.
For the Left, Free Speech = Liberal Speech.
Conservative Speech = Hate Speech.
So in their minds, they're just blocking hate speech, and who could possibly be against that?

It is naive to think because we don't use facebook it doesn't matter because it does matter. All Social media matters because the numbers are huge.

They are available but conservatives have a difficult time moving there.
with a lot of work and money FR could morph into a social media site for conservatives. I don’t think JR is interested, and face it, conservatives don’t put their money where their mouths are.

Suggested to FB they have three types of pages, social, religious, and political. No response
I understand your point. I have FR bookmarked and open most of the time I am in front of a computer.
I log in to FB, a few times a month for a few minutes to spout conservative political info or post conservative articles/videos. If they are censoring my conservative speech, it’s hurting them more than me ;)
Heavens no!!! They were trendy when they came out and I never do trendy. I start trends, but alas, not relating to cars. I drive an aging Ford Taurus.
JR probably doesn’t have either the funding nor the expertise to put something like that into effect, no disrespect to JR intended, but we’re talking a very expensive project.
The Koch Bros. put plenty of money into Conservative projects.
