It will be interesting to see what the punishment will be for an 80 YO man.

Such a good verdict. I cheered.
I was devastated to hear about Cosby and like everyone in the country had a hard time believing at first, even though I too was victim of a powerful man that people still believe in.
But that is the trick. You can get away with decades of sexual predation IF YOU CULTIVATE A LOVABLE PERSONA. And being rich and famous helps too. It is good to not let the powerful get away with crimes.
Will Mrs. Cosby be heading up his appeal team?
She’s otherwise wasted a lot of time....
This should be a warning to other Blacks not to tell Black males they need to support their kids instead of running away.
If he hadn’t done that he still would be a free man.
It’s, unfortunately, the basis for a pretty strong appeal. The judge telling the jury that they can make it up themselves implies there is no legal standard.

The jury asked about that. There is no definition in the state of consent, but looking at the nearly 100 women who dared come forward, he was not merely giving aspirins and benedryls. He was knocking them out, affecting their brains and memories. He knew what he was doing.
If you are drugged you can’t give consent.
Max 10 years for ‘each count’....guilty of three = possible 30 yrs. At 80 yrs old it’s life.

I love quoting from them.....but can’t anymore.....
My contention is that none of this would have ever come up except that he was effective in criticizing the Liberal Black Victim culture.
cosby can appeal and drag this out.....question is will or not they lock him up nor or still let him remain on bail ...

Crux of the biscuit right there. Someone invites a woman over for sex and offers a pill and a drink, she takes the pill and drinks the drink.
If she’s not fully aware of what the combo will do, then that may not be consent.
