There is no doubt he had a long history of mental issues, some of which have been mentioned in news stories. Nonetheless, the left is portraying him as a typical Trump supporter, even though his political views and motive - if any - remain unknown.

It’s not clear why Reinking opened fire on restaurant patrons, though he may have “mental issues,” Metropolitan Nashville Police Chief Steve Anderson said earlier.
Previously arrested at the White House. Waling around naked except for a jacket and shooting people at a Waffle House at 3 am. Yeah you could say he might have mental issues!
