Fox News host Sean Hannity is linked to a group of shell companies that have spent $90 million buying hundreds of homes across the U.S through the help of foreclosures and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Guardian reported Sunday.
More than 870 homes in seven different states have been purchased over the past decade, ranging from large mansions to rentals for low-income families, according to the newspaper.
For some of the mortgages, Hannity reportedly obtained funding from HUD under the National Housing Act loan program, which was first guaranteed under President Obamas administration.
Secretary Ben Carsons department recently increased Hannitys original $17.9 million mortgage for purchases in Georgia by an additional $5 million, records obtained by the Guardian show.
Hannity did not disclose his cooperation with HUD when he had Carson on his show last June, the Guardian noted.

My recollection is, Hannity said Cohen is a friend who happens to be a lawyer, with whom he discussed some real estate matters. However, no representation in court, no retainer, no billing. At most, a Hamilton may have changed hands to seal the deal, at least as it relates to lawyer-client privilege.
LOL! I had it with Laura years ago. Her bragging about her grade point average in 8th grade finally made me avoid her.
So? What did Hannity do that was illegal?
Liberal journalists/commentators just want to paint anyone who they think is conservative or pro-Trump as criminals.
We are looking for a new home. Sometimes we’ve looked at foreclosures. Many of them are absolutely wrecked by the previous owners.

The term shell companies implies malfeasance. This is purposeful use of this term. There is nothing uncommon about setting up different companies for real estate investments. It makes good business sense to protect your other investments this way. Sean has the resources and power to fight back against these b*stards and should start exposing the hypocrisy every day, picking one of them at a time.
How do we know this is true?
The HUD program was started under Obama on the theory (theirs, not mine) that it is “good” to “prop up” (in reality help keep housing prices “up”) by letting HUD directly fund investors who are willing to buy houses in foreclosure or that were foreclosed.
The reality is one of the largest portion of the houses sold in the HUD program were in Southern California where there is presently a housing bubble (housing prices back to the 2006-2007 bubble prices). Now the investors are getting THEIR properties sold ( due to a severe housing shortage) and before too long the families buying them will be “under water” as the HUD supported housing bubble they are in bursts.
So? Is investing in property now a crime? More LIB lunacy .
True.
Laura grates.
So? Not illegal.
And his crime is........?
Pfft!
$36 million ain’t what it use to be...
I have too. Over tbe years we have saved and flipped several houses. Difference is we don’t have millions so we do it the hard way. Lol.
More fake news. CNN, MSNBC have a tangled web of connections to big Democrats, and do they ever disclose?
The left hates property owners and landlords, but they love baby killers. So if Sean or any media host used their wealth to invest in abortion clinics in low income areas, then they’d be hailed as some kind of hero, and some president like Obama would give them the Medal of Freedom or something.
But giving people a place to live, rather than a place to kill their babies? No, the left can’t have that. Good is evil, and evil is good, in the minds of the Satanic left.
