Attorney General Jeff Sessions recently told the White House he might have to leave his job if President Trump fired his deputy, Rod J. Rosenstein, who oversees the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, according to people familiar with the exchange.
Sessions made his position known in a phone call to White House counsel Donald McGahn last weekend, as Trump’s fury at Rosenstein peaked after the deputy attorney general approved the FBI’s raid April 9 on the president’s personal attorney Michael Cohen.

If people think that Sessions is such a wuss, and has done nothing since he’s been AG, why would they believe that he’d have the balls to confront the President this way? It contradicts everything some Freepers on this thread believe about him.

You do realize that, according to them, fate had Trump elected President just so Sessions could be Attorney General.
I’d like to know about relevant communications between Sessions and Rosenstein, and between Rosenstein and the other crooked cops, just to know who is giving the orders and how deep is the Swamp. I’d also like Congress or President Trump to demand Sessions explain why Strozk, Page and the other demotees still have security clearances, not to mention paychecks from We the People. It does look like Sessions is just a paperweight.
If this is Session’s stand on the matter, then it says in bold, and clear letters the man isn’t the Trump supporter he portrayed in the play act that got him into the position he holds.
