Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke are in a statistical dead heat, according to a new poll released Wednesday.

Cruz led O’Rourke, 47 percent-44 percent, which is within the margin of error, according to a survey from Quinnipiac. It’s the first major public poll of the race and is likely to fuel Democratic hopes that the little-known three-term El Paso congressman is in the running to unseat Cruz.

“Oh, I see you have never been to Texas...”

I have no doubt native Texans woud never vote for the modern Democrat party. But Texas is plagued with the same things that mad California deep blue by the 1990’s..

California was overrun with transplants from the northeast as well as a massive wave illegal aliens. That is how we became deep blue.

A lot of Californians that voted for these liberals that screwed this state are now leaving because they can no longer afford the taxes and fees. Number one destination for these people? Texas because of it’s strong economy lower taxes. But these people will go there and vote for the Wendy Davis’s of the world.

2016 was a warning sign that Texas is close to becoming purple. Trump only got 52% in Texas. Hillary was the best performing Democrat candidate in Texas since Jimmy Carter won the state in 1976.

Democrats are cock roaches. The spread out.

“There’s nothing like coming to FR and seeing “members” openly supporting low life Democrats like O’Rourke, by trying to present Cruz as “worse”.”

Hey dumbass, if you could actually read and comprehend what I wrote, you would likely come to the conclusion that I did neither of those things.

So, I can only conclude you cannot comprehend what you read and are stupid.

You DO realize there's a significant difference, don't you?
Unlike Judge Roy, Ted Cruz is not a child molester...

What about the fact Texas had a Democrat Governor just a minute ago. A woman too. Nothing is out of the realm of possibility.

I agree, but unlike Ted Cruz, Roy Moore supported Trump from the moment he locked up the nomination.

Not hardly....more like the GOP gave up a seat....

Any other candidate but Roy Moore would have won easily....
