What about the fact Texas had a Democrat Governor just a minute ago. A woman too. Nothing is out of the realm of possibility.

and that’s just because the republican candidate made a horrible rape joke.
The republican candidate(that Richards defeated) compared the cold, foggy weather spoiling a campaign event to a rape....
“If it’s inevitable, just relax and enjoy it.”
Is it any wonder he lost?
That ‘minute’ was 24 hours ago and there hasn’t been a state wide elected democrat since except incumbent lieutenant governor Bob Bullock in 1994. I’m not going to lose too much sleep.
And I don’t even like Ted. It’s a personality thing and not his stance on issues. Never voted for him in a primary, but I will vote for him in a general election every time.
